There are probably extraterrestrial lifeforms. But the flying saucers, green men and all that stuff is most probably all fake. If there were aliens sentient and advanced enough to come to our planet, they would have either already killed us/be at war with us, or would have shown, or would try to communicate by intelligent means, instead of crapping up our fields with figures we can't decipher :P
Didn't they find some micro-organisms living on meteorite debris? A probe was sent out to collect some rock samples. The article was published in a magazine but I can't remember the name of it now :/
There are so many galaxys that it would be unlikely that aliens do not exist.
But out of all of those galaxies and planets how many would be able to have life? And even if they would one that had life most likely the life would not be intellectual.

It's really hard to say at this point but even using really poor odds we can still end up with hundreds even thousands of species out there on par if not more advanced then our own.
Last week I saw a group of lights go over my house a few hundred feet up. It was really weird. Did I mention that I live near an airport?

think about it we are one planet around one star. there BILLIONS of star in our galaixy. and there are almost 1 TRILLION galaixys in the universt, each with almost morestar then we have. to think that we are the ONLY living being out there you MUST belive in god or something...
there are some people who think aliens are real but there are some who think aliens are fake, both may be right in their judgement that they think is correct. But nobody can prove without some evidences. Evidences are needed to prove the statement. But what is the proof/evidences. An evidence must be supported by all the judgements and than it is accepted to be true evidence otherwise it may be fake. For one who believe it is 100% true and it makes the evidence 50%true in itself and for the one who don't believe it is 0% true and it makes the evidence 50%false. so it is uncertain to me till now whether aliens are real or fake because there are statements that tells that they are fake and their are statements that tells that they are true. in my opinion they exist somewhere but no found yet in this solar system to my concern and i dont believe in the fact that only our star:-sun can have some planets around where earth is also a planet and life exist there. i think that there are other stars where life exist in the planet around them. this is our world we have many conception and misconception.
