The chances of there NOT being life somewhere else in the universe are so astronomically high that the only logical reasoning to not think that there might be is that we have yet to encounter any.
There's billions of galaxies with trillions of stars in them with such a vast amount of planets around those stars that the chance that we are the ONLY living planet is so slim that it's crazy to think that.
It is certainly very possible. The universe itself is way too big to not have any other form of life anywhere. But we don't have the technological capabilities to find out. But I am almost certain there is life out there. When it will be discovered is another matter.
I think aliens could exist because there have been traces of bacteria found on other planets, but we aren't sure if it's from earth or a different planet. Also out universe is huge and there are so many different planets out there that could inhabit other living creatures.
I doubt it. If there is, it's nothing more than micro-organisms. Which would still be something, but not nearly on the same scale as large complex organisms.
As a christian i'll stand up for my beliefs and say that there is no life...... and if I wasn't a christian well, yes because N.A.S.A of someone claims they found water on Mars.
I always found this idea a bit xenophobic...I highly doubt that any intelligent species is going to go out just to conquor planets. Most likely our atmosphere isn't habitable to any would be aliens and they would encounter resistance if they tried. Why take the candy that kid is holding when there's a pile no one is around? What does earth have that can't be found elsewhere? It just seems unlikely that Earth would be highly valued to any alien species capable of interstellar travel.
