I am a christian, i and i strongly belive in my lord jesus christ, and i also belive that if you belive in him and except him as your savior, u will go to heaven. and i also believe that he created the world, not the big bang, or that we came from stupid apes.
Its the only thread left... No choice but to debate here.
Then why debate at all? From what I've seen this is for the most part over as well.
He doesn't want his existence proved, he wants you to have faith. *laughs*
Finally! I was wondering how long it would take for someone to finally say that. If there were proof, it would no longer be faith, he wouldn't be worshiped as something otherworldly and all powerful, but be known as a fact, and either feared more, or scorned.
Yep, especially when there are billions of people willing to revolt.
Well, If God was discovered as a fact, that would be in all his omnipotence and all-power. So what are a billion people going to about it? *laughs again*
Well, my point was supposed to be that if it were a fact that he existed, then he would have either less of a spiritual hold on people, or most would be too afraid of pissing him off to do anything, and thus have little if any free will.
Because then I would have to find something else to do in my spare time, and there is still the whole religion going into law and culture thing.

How about drive iron chariots threw heaven?
The LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron. Judges 1:19
If iron chariots could keep out some army as well as god, I wonder what a tank could do...

My point somewhat based off your point is that as a tyrant he would be killed. But of course he tells Christians not to revolt...
People would convert because they finally had proof, there's nothing spiritual about that, and there would really be no reason to actually convert, simply acknowledging his existence would be enough in my opinion.
and feel a little sheepish and desperate to please after so many have done... this kind of thing.

That's Judas' fail. God wasn't going to o all the work for Judas, and he failed for his human part.

If God became a fact how would you kill him genius. I can tell we've given the "if God was real" topic some real thought.

Last I checked god didn't need a human to get stuff done. He could have, or rather couldn't have, done it himself as he did with the others.

I don't recall saying kill. We only need to push him into his own hell. Probably chaining him down. Or we could pull a Cronus and cut him up then throw him into hell...

The point Cinna was making was that of: What the hell do you think you're going to do to an omnipotent, omniscient being? How will you even be able to get anywhere near him, while he knows your intentions?

He wanted to do it through a human to put things in a little more perspective. But Judas cowed out.

"As a tyrant he would be killed" Your words. And anyway, how are you going to chain down God?
