I am a christian, i and i strongly belive in my lord jesus christ, and i also belive that if you belive in him and except him as your savior, u will go to heaven. and i also believe that he created the world, not the big bang, or that we came from stupid apes.

Although I gotta say that science's claim that everything simply "clicked" into place seems logical but equally stupid to peg all of my faith into seeing how science is always correct itself

That's the thing about science. It isn't a dogma. It's empirically finding out how things work, and everything is mostly theories. With time the theories get more and more accurate, until once we know for sure how a thing works.

You don't seem to have a very good grasp on science. Also it's a good thing it corrects itself. Finding errors and correcting them is one of sciences strongest points.

You forget that theories can also get less and less accurate and most of the scientific theories we have are unprovable. Scientific laws DEFINE. Theories only try to explain WHY. Direct observation is more valuable that nonsensical theory.

Scientific laws do not only define.

Theories are here to be proven or disproven by direct observation. Without a hypothesis you won't advance. And you build your theories on laws and already made observation cuz you need something to start with.

A discovery is said to be an accident meeting a prepared mind.

Theories prepare the mind... Get that?

The answer is simple. There should be no christianity vs atheism. Both have equal right to exist. The problem is the "VS" part. Neither can be proven, and trying is only beating a dead horse. Accept that others will think differently than you, and that is OK. Christ himself did not try to force people to believe his word, rather, he led a life that made people want to follow him. If people need to believe something to settle their fears, let them. If you seek some answer in science, great. It's when the discussion skews from the sharing of knowledge and oppinion, to verbal assault that I have a problem. But that's just my oppinion.

i agree, besides, none of us will learn the answer in our lifetime.as it has been said above, arguing is worthless.IT CANT BE PROVEN,FOR EITHER SIDE.so why dont we all drop this **** and go on with our lives.

First, spell it right, it's atheist. Second, what you say is complete bollocks. I don't know in what sort of milieu you spend your time, but I advise you to change something about it. Being atheist has nothing to do with being psychotic, and I know of no such people as you describe.
besides i dont think they have a right to voice their opinoins cause they dont have a religion infact i think it would be better to be a satinists than an athiasts.

Are you seriously implying atheists are worth less just because they don't have a religion? That's pure discrimination. Everyone has the right to voice their opinions as long as they do it correctly...

I have several responses:

1) There's a useful device called a period, and it comes at the end of a sentence. You can use it to separate your sentences into individual complete thoughts so you don't sound like a raving moron.
2) The next "Marilen Manson" huh? He's a musician, not a psychopath. He's never killed anyone and dresses like that as part of his persona. It's an act. Do you think Kevin Spacey is a homicidal lunatic because he played one in the movie Se7en?
3) The atheists that you are clearly misrepresenting are certainly not even representative of atheists as a whole. Most atheists I know are intelligent and open minded. I think its a far more rational position than someone who chooses to spend their time talking to a magical man in the sky.
4) You obviously don't know what satanism is, and it doesn't really look like you have a clear grasp of what atheism is. So maybe it's you who shouldn't voice your opinion. At least until you learn what the hell you're talking about. And learn how to spell.
