Finally started to work on this game again (lots of grinding rp). Had a mini heart attack when I opened it in a different browser and saw all my progress was gone. Rookie mistake, but its all good since it is still saved is in the other browser and I didn't have to rage quit. =P
@MrDayCee I'm not looking forward to working on Mutant stomp either, and I haven't been lucky enough to get mutant sandwich yet either. Hang in there.
@Volkenate For Mutant Sandwich, go to mutant meltdown, and drive to a 4 mutant spawn (kill all previous mutants).
Then stop and pull out the pistol. Shoot mutants in the chest only, so they jump off but don't die. Eventually you should get to the point where all 4 try to grab at once, which forces 2 to go to the side. Immediately shrug off and then shoot the mutants off your hood.
@Volkenate : The mutant sandwich one also frequents during the run for mutant stomp as I've experienced, so you could gain one Quest while trying for the other!
That 20km quest is really annoying especially with my PC . I might not be able to complete it because I´m having big lags around 5km. This will be the second game I´m afraid I will not complete all quests. The first one is Raze 3. Well I just have to upgrade my machine I think.
@Thomcore Have you tried the previously mentioned methods of changing browsers and shutting down background apps? If this hasn't worked for you, I'm sorry.
As for Raze 3, as someone who loves their other games (except for Siegius), Raze 3 was a over-hyped, poorly made, unoriginal, Piece. Of. CRAP. Its difficulty was way too easy, and its balance was absolutely horrendous.
For all those, who are trying to get "mutant stomp":
Drive most of the time on the left side; always keep one or two mutants alive; if there are more, drive to the left in front of a house and wait for the mutants to jump up your hood.
Then kill them, till there are only max. two left again.
If you hear a bomber, to the left.
If you see mines: STOP! shoot them. Continue driving.
To keep the two mutants alive, only shoot their belly, not the head.
You should finish the 20 km then just fine.
(Didn't even needed to take meds or the heli. *g*)
I took the girl as a driver and nearly only used the LMG.
Good luck then.
ooh and it's not all about speed, more careful driving.
@MrDayCee as you can see, it is still an ongoing issue. I have been messaged by users asking if anything can be done about the 'Mutant Stomp' quest. They are saying 20 km is too much and would suggest 15 as a more reasonable target goal, due to the horrible lag this game has, across virtually all computers and browsers Specifically, the phrase that was used is "you cant see, you cant maneuver, and controls turn non responsive after a while". So apparently there is simply not enough time to earn it.
Hahah I understand xD That's pretty much what I said to the user that contacted me. Though knowing them, it is a really serious problem. They would not notify me otherwise (omegaprototype)
@Doombreed I completely understand, but as @Olinser stated it will be very unlikely this is going to be edited... messing with game coding that is several years old is always tricky, if not time consuming for the game dev who needs their time for current running projects. I will let you know when I know more, ok?
@Doombreed So, the final decision is made to leave this Quest as is... even though I feel (and share) your frustration, the Quest is simply too old to start messing with the game code for tuning it down. Reaching 20 km is a far stretch and seems impossible, but it can be done. The 235 persons that achieved it serve as proof.
