I would say that these quests are much easier than the previous ones in EBF1. And as the @helpo1 said the kraken boss is really easy. Just focus your equipment on healing and health and you will win.
Took me about an entire day to get those last two Quests... man... (oO)
I grinded my way through the Insane Mode level bosses (which took quite some suit and equipment tweaking along the way) right up to the point of the kraken boss...
Once I reached that point I used the settings to turn off the "Skip easier bosses" option and used the Hard Mode levels to grind money in order to upgrade my equipment to the maximum health and thus have enough to survive the run with the Kraken Boss.
In the end, I had this equipment, which helped me significantly to survive my run:
Mustard Pro Medic Suit I preferred a Shield over Healing, as it suited me better.
1 x Final Tech Boots
7 x Final Tech Armor Yes... This many, because Rate of Fire and Damage are useless for this Boss, since you have to use the cannons on the ship to defeat it!
3 x Final Tech Protector Droids Again, protection beats attacking with this Boss!
2 x Blue Potion To get the Cooldown Reduction back up to 50% Maximum for the Shield to work its magic!
Yeah, I think I'm done. It seems like too much work to progress any farther; I'm up to Hard 12, which means slogging through another 6 levels of hard and then 20 of insane, right? Don't think I'll be doing that.
Not really complaining or anything; these were better badges and gameplay than Clicker Heroes or the Sushi Cat final quest. I'll just know for future reference that Epic Boss Fighter games are just going to mean a couple more "Not Completed" quests in my roster.
@Andelhofs What do you mean with 'Questionnaire nor wirks'? Are you talking about the "Pro Level Stats" Quest perhaps? I can assure you it works allright... you simply need to find the exact right combination to get to those stats and unlock the Quest!
@bakkart you shouldn't give up... it took me quite a while to get the last two Quests indeed, as they ask some grinding from you in order to work through the bosses in both Hard and Insane mode, but they are do-able! I used the guide provided by @randomblah to learn about the tips for every boss and then it comes to a little figuring out what suit and equipment per boss... that's all!
@bakkart In Insane mode you can choose the levels one by one. If you die, you can repeat the level without having to kill the 2 previous bosses. That makes it easier because you can fit your equipment to the boss and you have full hp. Insane mode is less grinding and more figuring out the best equipment. So don't give up, you're close
Well that was interesting... With the kraken I killed it just as it killed me with its healing tentacle thing. It counted as a victory even though it had just regenerated its health... So in the background behind the victory message was a dead me and a kraken with health still left on its bar...
Dunno if anyone else has found this bug, but its possible to max out the second players stats. go into the 2 player menu, spend all nine points, exit all the way to game main menu, go back into the save file you were at just before and you will have another nine points to spend at the 2 player menu. Theoretically you could use this to your advantage in a couple of tough spots.
