Mayebe this isn't strictly related to quests, but can be useful:
day 1 floor 1
day 3 floor 5
day 12 floor 11
day 25 floor 19
day 60 floor 22
daay 75 floor 26
day 104 floor 33-34
day 160 floor 35
day 285 floor 44
year 2 day ??? floor 45
year 3 floor 54
year 7 floor 61
year 20 floor 65
year 22 floor 74
year 22 day 1 floor 76
NB: (I think) the floors change everytime you begin a new run, but approximately those are the floors where you can find secret passage.

Thanks to @randomblah, your guide is simple, but extremely useful. A tip to add to yours: if you can, you should enchant equipment with "MP regen" at floor 55-60 because your equipment should be strong enough to avoid to change it with new gear, wasting crafting items.
different from randomblah's walkthrough, the keyword in my post is DEFENSE.
1.put all your AP into DEF.
2.choose the ATK/DEF skill tree.then the potion tree.just ignore the magic trees.
3.the only challenge is the first 20 floors.once you get the first MP regen, get the heal spell.then the game turns to be a cake.
4.keep a few (5-10)mp regen, then put proper ele- def against proper mods. once your def is high enough, nearly all mods are your HPpots until floor 65+.
5.combine all your crafting into potions when against the final boss.
I have been gathering artifacts and putting Bleed and Decimate enchants on everything to be properly prepared for the final boss encounter. I've collected about 20 strong MP/HP potions (with Transmutate).
Then I've killed the last boss in five seconds without using even one potion.
I'm not sure if it's a bug, hopefully it isn't, but it wouldn't let me get the Hardcore Caver quest. I think it might have been because I clicked on the wings (but didn't exist).
I don't mind repeating the game, but it would be nice if there's nothing wrong with it. I don't want to complete it again just to find out there actually is something wrong.
This seems like the best place to ask this question, as I'm uncertain if it's suppose to be like this. Any help would be much appreciative.
@Ferret@Tasselfoot I wonder if one can't simply make an entire run within an existing save game, but simply start from the first level and then play through untill defeating the final boss? It isn't mentioned anywhere that you need to create a new game and start from scratch, is there? That's what's confusing me...
@punymortal as you become stronger you walk-trough monsters.. (kind of) than this is very easy.. the first 40-50 first are the hardest for me at least i spend almost every SP to attack ;-)
@MrDayCee - no, you have to do it start to finish from a new game.
I understand the logic, it's just poorly executed. The logic is that after just a couple runs the game becomes trivially easy simply by virtue of being a much higher level with already-enchanted artifacts and large number of stat crystal boosts. So to make it difficult you have to do it from scratch and not get to cheese early levels for an easy game finish.
The PROBLEM is that the RNG makes it extremely difficult to get past about level 30 without dying because your survival is 100% dependent upon certain crafting materials and good enough equipment dropping (but once you get past that it becomes almost laughably easy if you followed the proper build path, the first time I got past level 30 I beat the game and got the quest).
@Olinser Then I guess I will have to add one more unfinished Quest to the list, as I simply don't have the time to work through it. Maybe in the future somewhere... we'll see....
To get hardcore caver quest, just keep upgrading defense only.
Max out every defense tiles in skill tree > heal > potion efficient > potion duration. Ignore all magics.
Your hero will take 0 damage from monsters, except last boss, plasma wizard and wisp.
The only hard part is that you are going to swap equipment for every each of monster.
One thing you have to worry is monster's element attack.
Always enchant your equipment with element defense as much as you can when reach forge/shop. Look ahead new monster and enchant for next 5 floor. [url=http://theenchantedcave.wikia.com/wiki/Enemies_%28TEC2%29]
For example: You are at floor 40. You will met Icy Eye on floor 41 and Primitive Wizard on floor 44.
The Icy Eye: atk 162, Ice atk 25
This means you need equipment set that make you defense to 162 and Ice defense to 25. Until floor 44.
Primitive Wizard: atk 150, Ice atk 50
It would be ideal if you can boost ice defense to 50. But no big deal if you cannot. You can avoid this monster only 1 floor until you reach floor 45 which you will get better equipment and more ice defense ingredient.
Enchant rings first, gloves second, so you can use it in late game.
Don't enchant element defense on helmet, armor and shield except in late game. You are going the change these very soon in mid-game.
Buy ingredients on shop as much as you can, they can use as potions and can help you in hard fights especially all those cheap element defense/+atk/+def.
Do not sell equipment with wind defense, THERE IS NO WIND DEF ENCHANTMENT IN THIS GAME.
These are monster that will be hard for this method:
- Giant Jungle Spider atk 140 / earth atk 15 / dark atk 5
Your defense will not exceed 140 in time. Use every potions you can create at the time.
- Blood spider atk 150 / dark atk 25
Ridiculous high atk at the time. Luckily, it got lower hp and it drops voidweed or hp potion. Use potions +def +hp regen until you get better equipment. KILL EVERY SINGLE OF THEM TO GET VOIDWEED.
- Undead Ice Viking atk 191 / Ice atk 20 / wind atk 20
It got high atk with wind atk. Avoid this on early encounter. There is not thing drop from this monster. You can just skip it.
- Plasma Wizard atk 220 / fire atk 10 / wind atk 20 / light atk 30
Avoid this monster until you get unicorn poo enchanted.
- Wisp atk 5 / Ice atk 20 / wind atk 40 / Light atk 40
Ridiculous wind atk. No drops. Just skip it at all time.
Create all +element def and +bleed +decimate potions for last boss.
He will take you only 20-30 damage per hit. A piece of cake.
