Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
Hey, 'No-Longer senpai' Soul. I have an idea about how the abilities could work. In King's League Odyssey if you reach a special milestone you can advance the class of one of your heroes. The same could be implied but you could have a complete set of abilities that could come with the new class like for example. (with a button to which you can go back to your old class if you didn't finish all the abilities) Mage (with its abilities)->Necromancer (with a new set of ability you can unlock and improve just like the first game). Or Mage->Warlock And the same with sword- and archer classes.
Multiplayer? Classes? MMO like? Become a Trader? Sorry.
But i find it really scary when the flower doesnt drop anything. His animation seems to scare the **** out of me. I dont know why. But please change his animation less scary.
Maybe add upgrades to your sword with a special skill tree, like a Fire skill tree, Maybe add a color changer to the armors or the last set of armor,
You could hold a contest to design a sword, armor or other stuff,
Or Add cosmetic armors, don't like the design of the strongest armor, just put on a cosmetic set.
I think a multiplayer addition to the first/ in the second would keep more people interested in playing for longer. It would also be really nice if you could transfer your hero because it wouls be a pain to redo the work I've done in this game; I'm proud to say I have gotten a 301 combo in the shield blocking training.
Wow, this game is surprisingly fun and well done for being on AG (no offense, many are just far too childish for older users here.) The graphics are simple but smooth and pleasing, the musical score and sound effects are entertaining without becoming too repetitive or annoying.
Love that they implemented so many different systems to learn and master, although the battle sequences could be a bit more polished. Turn-based is fine but the flow is a little choppy/unpolished IMHO, I think it's just the timing. For instance there are a lot of times when you'll waste an ability because the poison timing goes off at the absolute last second or a passive will active just before your ability does.
The bank system is great idea -- expanding on this in the sequel is something I would be very happy to see. Seeing as, at times, it's your main source of income maybe more systems to invest in (like the shop) instead of just the Museum/Bank and maybe some alternate ways to earn money like crafting or potion-making from your home/training area would be prudent?
It would also be cool to see items implemented a bit more. Like an inventory or a storage chest. Customizable armor and weapons would be a interesting as well. On the topic of customization -- the home building system left a lot to be desired. It was very cut-and-dry, linear, kind of boring. If it wasn't for the XP and GP boost I probably wouldn't have touched it.
Additionally, what is the point of having Online Saves if there are no readily accessible leaderboards, rankings, or PvP? No player interaction like guilds, messaging, etc? I would like to see something along these lines in the next game.
Overall this game is easily an 8 out 10, and I eagerly await the sequel. So many features, so much potential, so little time...
+ TekZen Although I have never actually tried it out, I think that you can access the online save from different computers. So if you go to a friends house or get a new computer cause a coffee spill, you can just go online, log in to AG and use the online save. At least, I think that's the way it works.
Also, I agree with needforspeed12345 's desire for a pause button during training and matches. Sometimes, I'm in the middle of a fight and I don't want to quit and lose my progress, but I know I will die if I can't use the active skills.
PvP would make it great. A customizable menu for shoosing armor, sword, shield, etc...Maybe some classes such as Mage, Rogue or any other you guys think of Can't wait to see Swords&Souls II. I have high expectations. No pressure
It would be great if we could go to the locations given in the Swords and Souls map like The Suburg, The Neverseen, The Toothless Mount, The Unholy Thicket and other great places for S&S 2. There should be a great world map listing all these places with new adventures as small updates. Oh, and I would like if S&S 2 was an RPG or a game which has a point.
a better looking house perhaps? Since in the first game you would wear ****** gear, but your house, even though it's huge and has a barn plus tower, still looks kind of like a peasants place
