This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Most because I should be doing an assignment... I fail like that... Finishing page 5 at the moment, at least 5 to go...
But hopefully the picture will help you a little. I will probably finish it in a couple of days.

Have you ever succided i ndoing so your self?

I've tried, and I've only gotten my friend to think about it. Heh.
It's harder than you think, but I just used strong words that time.

Wow Cenere, that's pretty good. I'm making a promo poster myself to get NoName to Endorse the zsc ^^;.
I took an Uncle Sam approach, but I like it.

wait a second...*gasp* Your trying out for the apprentice spot? I thought you didn't like zombies all that much....

*is now ignoring any possible comments of how this is similar to "The Apprentice" Tv show*

Actually I have a funny relationship with the word apprentice (no, no reason to ask), but mayhaps? On the other hand you said I could 'join' "as long as I did not post scenarios"? Hmm, apprentice...
*whistle* Might be fun.

would it be OK if I join?
Plan: assuming we have at least 10 minutes:
basically go to my neighbors house, get his guns and leave as fast as possible (if he's one too, i know where they are). We live on the outskirts of town, so we should beat the rush. we will then make our way to the ocean (1-2 hours away) get his boat and head to an island. Seems to make sense, sense if they can't swim... so, stay on the island for the rest of eternity and hope we don't get bored.

possible holes in the plan:
1.) boat is gone. solution: see if we can go with someone else. if ALL of them are gone then I guess we head to the most remote area we can find and set up a camp.

2.) my town is the starting place of the outbreak. solution: get out as fast as possible/hope to hell hte military nukes 'em.

I can't think of any more. I need to get a gun.

Yeah, I welcome all people to the ZSC in open arms!
Art is appreciated, so long as it's zombie related, it doesn't entirely need to be apart of an event, such as this one.
In order to become a member, you have to answer a scenario, which is an instance that normally puts your thinking skills to the test. Everyone tends to start a scenario in their own way I.E.
Thoadthetoad - +++Scenario+++
MudPuddle - Scenario the 1st, 2nd, 3rd . . . .
SkaterKidWhoPwns - !!!SCENARIO!!!

Which makes it easy to spot them. So you must answer one of those, (can be in story form) and you have to make your plan of what you would do if the zombie of the characteristics I specified on the first page broke out. Full break out would be in ~ 1-2 weeks, and the human population/survivors would most likely be within 500 - 1000 Survivors worldwide. Your supplies are everything you have in real life, so make sure to know what your going to bring, how long you can hold up in a house, and when your going to leave. Trust me, your going to have to leave at some point.

Now then, for the new people who want to join (Ledmonds, llamaeatataco, possibly Cenere), here is...
+++SCENARIO+++
This ones simple, easy, but requires some effort. You had just gotten away from one of the riots at times square NY. You take refuge in a tall building, with around 40 floors. You think that you are ok, seeing as you only have a cut and several scratch marks on your pants. There's some scattered papers on the floor, and you hear people screaming outside about some sort of zombie horde coming your way. There's fires about 30 minutes and counting coming to your position, and you see the horde behind the lady. Looking around desperately, you find that your inside an office building, completely abandoned.

Now then, goal - survive the chaos

Remember, you can't stay there for long, as a fire is heading your way T-Minus 30 minutes. First of all, you can let the lady come with you, but she's just a common person, and is a little..."big". She wears a *snicker* pink negligee, and is named strop. Just kidding. But really, she's a hysterical obese lady.

Any further questions, please contact my profile.

The Ledsmond Special Scenario-o-death, and stout!

You and your mates are up late one night drinking at the The Turf and Feather, in Locking Stumps, when you get the crazy idea to play some football.

Hopping in your car, you head to Ellesmere Port, intent on tearing up some greens, in a late night romp.

Your team is up two nil, when you see what appears to be a band of hooligans coming across the fairway to wreck your game.

Big William goes over to roust them off field of play, when one of the buggers grabs him, and bites a huge chunk of meat out of Big Williams shoulder!

The scream goes quite a ways to sobering you up, but now what? You car is a quarter mile away, and you're skins, so you have no clue where your jersey (and car keys) are.

Your chums don't quite get the zombie thing yet. Confusion is rampant. All you have is some sporting equipment (cricket, football, lawn darts, and oddly enough, a volley ball net, with expandable poles, and several balls.) two cases of Guinness, and a bucket of fried chicken, gone quite cold.

The zombies are covered in wet muck and mire that hints they are coming from the river. You spot planes taking off from John Lennon Airport. Easy to be wishing you were there, but it's a heck of a swim, especially if the waters are full of zombies...

What do you do? What do you do?

The Ledsmond Special Scenario-o-death, and stout!

Ha, i like the British twist on it.

Considering the long swim, the fact that the river is full of zombies and that you are half drunk, I dont think swimming would be a particularly smart thing to do. Instead i think your best bet would be to run back to your car grabbing a couple of your friends ((if possible) and driving tot he airport.

Hmm, I take it that I am allowed to modify the scenario to my living conditions? As I have never been to NY, and we do not have 40 storey buildings in my city?
Hopefully.

[brain activity: 50percent]
Well, the Zombies are faster than the fire? ... I fail. Randomly generated actions:
Go looking for the cafeteria og kitchen in the building, looking for a good knife, still with that - lady following, looking for possible exits on the way. There will probably be many doors leading to an emergency exit, where it would be more or less possible to escape from zombies and flames. Unless the building have been raided, there should be a good load of food there, but since I am in a hurry, only candy (fast sugar) and water will be taken, and just enough to fill my pockets. This might slow my movements a little, but it can be thrown away, if I should be unlucky and have to run for my life.
As it is an office building, there are nothing interesting when it comes to the upper storeys, but if the zombies have caught in on me (and the fat, fat lady), those levels of the building would be the best place to run, having rooms for printing and copying. Those machines are rather hearvy, and can be used to block the door. About here the lady would simply be a pain, and though she is a human being, she would have to left in the copying room, probably by cheating her. The means of escape would be climping up on one of the copy machines and lift off a part of the ceiling (most offices have that kind of ceiling, I do not know why...), and crawling blindly in a direction I hope to be closest to the emergency exit, leaving the lady to keep the zombies little minds of me, and hopefully making them stay long enough for the fire to catch on.
//If there is not that kind of ceiling, my otions are rather limited, but keepting to round floor and the lower storeys should make it possible for me to escape the zombies through the elevator, working or not. Depends on the state of the building and its equipment.

...Yes, lack of sleep does not help make your brain work... Amount of errors in the text is 20 percent, and I have misspelled zombies four times now...

good one Cenere, you answered it and have at least a 60% chance of living, so good job.
Now all you have to do is make a plan of what you would do if you just now learned that there is a zombie attack inside your own city, and will get you any minute.
This isn't like a scenario, and it has to be a full-length plan to death.
A.K.A. your plan of where you would go, etc. etc.

Okay, will havae to wait untill I have made that assignment, do not want to fail it...
Oh, and random explainations: Knifes are rather imporatent, at least to make false trails with, or mark your way (cutting and triling blood, or making marks/messages in wood).
The elevator is (for me) only usable, when you have a few storeys to climb, especially if you do not know if the other doors are opened. Closed elevator doors are a pain to open without tools.
Those weird ceilings in most offices and schools are rather week, but crawling on the metal holding it up should do the trick, as long as you are not too heavy. At least it should be able to take you long enough to run for the exit before the zombies get you.
... Random. I will get to the plan later.

Ok, this is for the office building scenario:
Note: Cenere had basically the idea i was thinking (minus the details) so I will come up with something completely different.

===plan===
If the lady is a team player, we could send her off in a different direction to attract the horde, then make our sneaky escape. if not, run away from the fire. now, I'm going to assume that the building we're in is abandoned (no police officer to help/steal a gun from) so see if we can get knives from the cafeteria. by then I'm assuming that the zombies were RIGHT behind her, so we would have no way to make it out of the building. On the ground that is. I seem to see that a lot of skyscrapers/tall buildings have those little bridge things between them, so if it has one we will use that to escape the horde to the next building, hopefully drawing the main portion off our tails. if not we just run.

branch 1: bridge thing available: we covertly make our escape (the only zombies are the ones that are now searching for us in the office building, right?) from the city and have saved the entire world by letting the zombies get burned... and letting the military bomb the area out of existance.

branch 2: no bridge available: we have a rather large group on our tails and they are all after us. we just find a building with on of those bridges and lead them into it and repeat plan branch 1. (they never see us go into the bridge and we close the door)

so, there is my plan. I am making some assumptions, like that the zombies will follow us into the building (they are very single-minded, right?) I hope that falls into the category of acceptable plans.

My new plan.

I would begin by looking for a decent weapon being in England no guns are readily available so I would go for the crowbar in my shed.
After finding the weapon I would go to local police station and see if there are any guns there and also check for survivors. I would then head for the local supermarket as that is a safe place. I would barracade myself into the largest shop. Then hide the stocks of tinned food and bottled water in a safe place incase I was compromised, after this I would then look for food only good for a shorter time which could be used for then and there.
After feeding and stocking I would loot the petrol station for any fuel and find a large truck (I have experience driving one) and put stocks of weapons and life supplies in it, after this I would fill it with the looted petrol and drive around the town looking for survivors. If I found any I would allow them to follow me for safe refuge against the zombie scum.
When I have finished preparing I would loot the shops and find anymore weapons and items to help barricade me inside the mall. I would try to get a radio signal out to any survivors so people could be helped. Each day I would go out and look for others and also hoping to rid the town of the zombies, this would make me safer and also make a safer route for the survivors to access me.
If survivors where there to help me I would get them to help me set the town up as a safety town such as barricading all the entrances and using the vast fields to farm which would help to have longer lasting food. Then I would get all the people to get the phone books and use them to search for other survivors out there so as they know a safe place is waiting for them if they need it and to look for our town.
After we have built up enough numbers I would give the people the option to help rid England of the menace and come outside out refuge. We would then fight our way through the hordes of zombies and soon all the survivors could make their way to England. It would soon be the capital of the world like it once was.

... Assuming I lived in NY.

Abandoned office building... Hit the stairs, go up quickly, move through doors and block the way so the zombies would be slowed down. Tell the lady it would be better to split up and try to make it on our own. Attempt to move somewhat silently, so as not to attract much attention, hoping that she will have less success in doing so and thus attract their attention. If by chance running through a cantine (spellplz?) grab some solid knives.

Figure out where the fire is coming from, and try to ensure that the zombies have been lured at least a few floors up, then trying to make way into a ventilation shaft. If possible, escaping that way in another direction than the fire.

This would all need to be timed somewhat with the approach of the fire and the speed of the zombies, but should be relatively possible? Depending on the building, of course.

... Did I do something wrong? *chibimazzelhface*

In reaction to the scenario from Mudpuddle, I would like to say it is pretty good to.

Firstly I would grab the cricket bat and look around for my t-shirt in hope of my keys being there. If a zombie got within 5 feet of me I would smack it oops up side the head and as soon as I found those keys I would be out of there. I am thinking that my friends would have guessed they are in danger by now and would follow me whilst getting to the car, I would get to the closest police station and get a weapon. After this I would head back home (better to rid myself of dead family members first) and then head for the supermarket to stock up on food and drink.
If the zombies are slow enough I could run to check out the situation on numbers, after this I would head for the radio hq in the town centre and get out a message.
After that I would just fight for survival.
