This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
RussianFreak looks like he's put in a good plan to me Skater. The cows are not the uber-solution he seems to think they are, as they need to graze to be able to breed, and give milk, but they are a good start, and show though. I guess we need to offer up a scenario, eh?
Eh, Mud I will make one tommorow after school. Right now, I am being a lazy crap-for-crap who ate to much of his grandmothers pie. Peanutbutter, in case you were wondering.
Cen: Did we ever add you as a member? I remember you saying something about not wanting to? OOOO......Afraid of comitment are you?~?~?~?~?~
Location: You are in an RV in the outside of a small town named Mars. (My home town FTW!) In the town are a few bakerys, a barber shop, a dinner, a drug store, a hardware store, a grocery store ,and a bank. As well as alot of homes.
What you have at your diposal: Said RV with propane tanks for cooking, and electrictiy thanks to some old car batteries. You have what ever you could find in the stores, NO GUNS! You have a crowbar, and a hatchet.
People!!!!! (pick one or I eat your face apart...m'k?):
Jasper: A tall strong african american man. He was a farmer down in missuri. He came up to visit his family, when the outbreak happend. He escaped with his life, but is now alone. Good with his hands, and is very strong. Can help with farming.
D-I-F-F-U-S-I-O-N: A local pimp...not really good for anyhing but some laughs......
Rex: He was a marine, ditched his squad o nthe way into trying to clear pittsburgh. His squad is dead, though he revuses to belive it. He has many survival skills, but sadly lost his weapons in the run. Does have a pack of rations though.
Carlie and lexi: Two girls traveling together, Both younger then you are, posibly 7th or 8th grade. carlie is short with blonde hair, and the other is tll with brown hair. Both anyother time would have been considered very attractive. Now however, covered i ndirt and after lossing alot of weight were n longer. both know basic survival skills from a few years of girl scout camp.
Austin: Fat, out of shape, carpenter. He found a large truck full of twinkies and now lives on them...and there are some zebra ckaes in there to. Good with buliding, but not much else.
challenge: Allright, Yo uare in the RV with whatever survior you choose. One of you has the crowbar, the other the hatchet. (If you pick the two girls, one goes unarmed) You have time to search one store and build a suitable barricade before they come. There are about 50 zombies coeming over the hill and into town. With no obvious way to kill them, use your brain.
And you can choose to blow town. There are mountains, lakes, feilds, and alot of other towns around here, so take your pick. Just go indepth if you go somewere else.
(If I get thetime, I might go into town and take some picture of said buildings)
Well if i am sepposed to use that up there lets get started =) Ok I would take the carpenter Austin. He mite be out of shape but i still will need him =) OK so i go to the diner and ppark right in front of the Front door. them i ask Austin to take some 2x4 and put nails threw them and glue them around the RV then i go insode the Dinner grab as much food that is left for survivol and take pots and pans and tings like that. also i take lots of spoons and rope. Then i take some plates and forks. Ok so when i get back i take the spoons and connect them with strings and a string going up that i connect to the thing that goes out so that if the Zombies do come i would know then if the zombies try getting to the door there would be 2x4 and nails sticking out so that they might get a critical damage done and miight get killed. then if they some meaculas way do get in. I would take my 2x4 that has nails sticking out of the top and smak then in the head and body wich means they would die. Also i would take the plate break them and connect them with strings and hang them so that the zombies might get Cut by them. Then i would make sure i have pots and pans for cooking and cook up some good food and wait threw the attack.
Well that is my idea and i don't think zombies use dornobs right? cause then this would be a stupid plan =(
Cen: Did we ever add you as a member? I remember you saying something about not wanting to? OOOO......Afraid of comitment are you?~?~?~?~?~
Nope, never added me. And if I remember correctly, the not wanting to was before I actually tried for a membership. Of course, I have no idea if I am allowed in either, so yeah.
I just have a secret joy of letting my temper out on people being too lazy to think of themselves. Yeah... I will probably end up like House.. *goes out to get painkillers*
Russian, no they dont use doorknobs, but will eventually be able to get in...as the doors are all glass. XD
NIce use of the carpenter though...Though the nials and such, like I said unless it breaks through the skull nothing will happen. Cuts to the body and such wil also be usless.
I give you plan about a........6/10 Might have done good to say were you got the 2x4's from.
Fun fact: Did you know that 2x4 are actually not 2x4? They are a quarter in eacn way. Funny huh?
OK,so let me create the first edition of my plan(subject to change if I find anything wrong with it later on)
Plan: Grab up Rex the Marine, and give him the Axe,leaving me with the crowbar, since I have experience with engineering with my Robotics Team I have experience with Power Tools for building a barricade, and working with a few other things like electrical systems, mechanics, etc. but anyways the first thing we would do is of course hop into the the RV(quite a large vehicle depending on what type of RV,and can sometimes be used as a house for people so interesting choice of vehicle) and stop by the Hardware store.I shall grab whatever metal material is left there, such as steel bars, and plates, and then if there is not enough then I will supplement with some fairly thick wood, but only as long as it doesn't all slow us down to much,as well as the nails/screws to nail/screw these materials into place. From there I shall grab some power tools, any and all batteries I can find to operate said power tools, along with just batteries in general(seriously hardware stores are abundant in these items, and people can't seriously think to raid all of it,while also being dead.It would make no sense to me),and after that(I would probably be carrying around a cart to carry it all in,or something at this point I would think) I would have to grab some tape and a couple of lighters on my way out.Once I have all of this I quickly load it all up into the truck and head off to the bakery, typically a small place(at least in my area they are)so it would be easier to quickly build defenses, and it is more likely to have non-perishable food so I wouldn't have to necessarily cook it.I would first start by taking out my materials, and putting them all into the building, and then use the materials for boarding up the house(steel bars, metal materials, wood)leaving a single steel bar for something else, to cover up any and all windows, and doors as much as possible, going for the doors first, since windows would probably require them to climb a bit since they are not open at a complete ground level typically(as in they are higher up then doors,so it would probably require the zombies to spend a bit more time climbing them,if they can climb, then it would for them to go through the door so prioritizing is key).Once this is done I take one of propane tanks,a lighter, and a couple of birthday cake candles. Then look through all of the batteries having the marine help me,by looking for a battery type labeled LiPo(AKA Lithium Polymer) and if not that then I will look for a regular lithium battery which are fairly common. These Batteries when set on fire can be quite potent at burning through metal, such as the metal used for a propane tank.I would take the tape, and strap the lighter, battery, and birthday candle to the propane tank. With the birthday cake candle over top of the lighter ,and the Battery next to them both on the same side. The way this will be used is that if all goes well I can light the candle, throw it,and when it lands, the friction should shatter the glass on the lighter, releasing the lighter fluid, causing it to spread out and set the battery on fire, which in turn will explode bursting the propane tank it is connected to,set the propane within it on fire as well.Causing an explosion. So if all goes well this would be used as a complicated giant Molotov and if the explosion doesn't crack a couple of skulls at least then I would be shocked.I plan on Rex throwing it as he is more likely to be in better physical shape, and I don't want it to explode to close to the barricade to where it will damage it.Before I use the propane tank though,if I still have enough time I will take that steel bar I have and take some power tools to it,to sharpen it,turning it into a make shift spear to defend myself at a long enough range,if needed.
OK so that is my plan for now hope you don't find anything wrong with it

Very nice plan Crimson, very nice indeed. Just a few things I saw which may cause problems. Alot of tools that do run on batterys run out very quickly and are not very powerfull. Also, alot of stores don't carry all that many of them. (Not sure if this one does...can't say I ever went in to it)
Also, your propane tank idea...those things are alot thiker then you think. I saw one resently that was completely engolfed in flames for 4 hours, non of the metal heated. The paint o nthe outside, and some chemicals i nthem make them flame prove.
BTW I will let it slide, but you broke the challenge. You went to the hardware store, the backery, AND a home. TISK TISK TISK! lol
Allright, well I decided to awnser my own scenario....
My ally choice...Carlie, and Lexi.
"Gah...Phef...That should be enough wood for now..." I set the hatchet down to the large pile of logs I had split. I dabbed at my face with the bottom of my shirt, and turned my hat backwards, to protect from, the sun. There I was, Outside of an old RV, which suprisingly still ran. i had allways be light, but had lost a substansial amount of weight since the outbreak. iwas 120, and allmost two years later, probably didn't weigh much more. This came in handy though, as i could now fit in allmost any clothing I found lying around. I had fianlly cut my hiar, shaved it actually. i found it ridiculos looking, but at least it was no longer in the way. "Greg! did you split those logs yet? We need them to keep the fire going!" It was only now i noticed I saw staring at a log, thinking of every thing that used to be. I kicked the log, and scooped up some of the logs, trotting over to were lexi and carlie were sitting. Lexi Was a tall girl, with long brown hair, and deep brown eyes. She was allways on edge, never quite aware of what might happen. Then there was carlie, short, blonde hair, shining blue eyes. Both of there smiles melted me...under normal sercomstances I would have been having thoughts that would end me up in hell. But this was no time for thinking that way, and I had long since abandoned it.
"Greg, you know your hands cut up? Come here let me fix that up." Carlie came over with the first aid kit and rather then using a chair next to me, sat on my lap. She took out some perozide and poured it on my hand. I winnced felling the sting, as the dirt was pulled out. She then took a gau and wrapped my hand. Kissing her quickly on the cheek and turned toward Lexi. "So did you guys find any food down at the store toady?" I questioned her, tighting and lossing my fist, to lossen the bandage some. "We found some stew, thats what were eating." There were tears in her eyes. I didn't have to ask why. She was simplie missing her old life. Carlie simplie looked away. I had found her more then once weeping, and I knew she was haveing the same thoughts as lexi. "Do either of you want to come with me? I am gonna go se if I can find any berries." I looked from carlie to Lexi, hopeing to see at least one smile. I found now, told them both i would be back before sun set, and set off towards the woods.
I'm lacking motifatio nto finsih right now. So i will leave that for now...
I came to check back in with tthe ZSC, and really, I've very much pleased. I'd like to give you all a little present.
Nothing.
That was your present, and here's a small thanks I will write up on the literal go for skater, mudpuddle, and all you regulars here on the AG ZSC.
Thank you, for caring about the ZSC. Trying to keep zombies from getting in our home while we help improve them is more than xxxtremely hard. I'm very happy that the ZSC was carried on, and I'm happy that Skater was there since the beginning of this thread. The ZSC has grown to an astounding 259 pages, and is in the top 10 "most posts" list that is not a contest, I'm very pleased, thank you all who helped us get here.

Do some research on what a lithium battery can do when set on fire then come back to me with that.In the mean time I am only going on what type of stuff is in the Hardware stores in my area, and they have all of that so I wouldn't know if yours does though.
I have been an undercover fan of this club for a while now and would like to join. I have read the entry requirements and understand that I need to create a personal plan for how I would survive, so here goes. -------------------------------------------------------------------- First off, once the outbreak started I would hole myself up in my house. I live in a relatively densley populated area, and so I think it would be wise to lay low for about 2 weeks. Food and water are no problem. I have a very large larder, and could easily live off the food inside for this length of time. As for water, I have a couple of jerry cans that can hold a gallon each, and so I would fill these up and haul them upstairs to the attic. A drop down ladder is the only way to reach it, and it is not visible to any zombies if they came looking. I have a 9mm in my house with plentiful ammo, and although I would prefer something much more powerful it is the best I have, and so would carry it on me at all times.
Once the 2 weeks is up, I would venture outside. Just to give you some perspective, I will describe the layout of my area as it is entirely relevant to my plan. There is a highroad about 2 minutes walk away, with various groceries/supermarkets etc. Across from this highroad is a grass common, about 200m across. On the other side is a fire station. Which brings me to the next phase of my plan. This is a fire station for trainee firemen, and on the site there is an extremely large tower, which they use for training, about 50 metres tall. One of the firemen instructors that works there lives in my area, and I have had numerous conversations with him, and so am fairly well informed on the layout of the place. It seems there are many different routes to the top, all of which are ladders, that are retractable. This is key, as my plan revolves around holing myself up at the top of the tower, as it seems like a safe location and as an added bonus it is very near to where I live.
Now to put my plan into motion. I would need a substantial amount of supplies to subsist at the top of this tower. Thus, after I had waited for 2 weeks I would load up my car with the food an water from my house, as well as a sleeping bag and a roll mat, along with warm winter clothing and a first aid and tool kit, so I would be ready for a variety of situations. I would carry my 9mm with me and race to the highroad. (As it is 2 mins walk away I would get there in probably under a minute). I would then park up right outside the place and keep the engine running. I would dash inside, load up, primariy on canned food and bottled water. I would then shove as much of this into my car as possible and make the short trip to the fire station tower. I would enter first to check the coast is clear, and then I would make my way to the top of the tower, carrying the food and water up, in a number of trips. Once at the top with all my supplies I would have a birdseye view of the entire area, whilst at the same time remain invisible and innaccessible to the zombies at ground level. I would retract all the ladders on my last trip up, making reaching my position impossible to any zombies. I would stay holed up here, observing, during the day for any other survivors, and making food runs to the highroad every few weeks, if my supplies were dwindling. -------------------------------------------------------------------- There is my plan. I hope it makes the grade. However I am also aware that you need to answer a scenario, so I will answer skater_kid_who_pwns' scenario from the previous page.
With regards to the scenario, I would choose Austin the carpenter. I would head into town with the RV and head to the hardware store. I would then give him some time to load up on supplies that he needs to build a decent barricade. I would then head to the grocery store with the hardware tools. I would then instruct Austin to get to work making a barricade outside the grocery store, in which should hopefully be supplies to last a decent period of time.
Whilst Austin was getting busy with the barricade, I would find some sort of canned soup from the grocery store, preferably meat flavoured and all the other meat flavoured foods I could find and load them onto the RV. I would then make a hole in the bottom of the can of soup with the hatchet and attatch it to the back of the RV leaving a drip trail behind it. I would then drive downwind of the zombies and close enough so that they could catch the scent of the food. Once they started following me, I would drive, at a slow pace, slow enough for the zombies to follow, as far away from the town as possible with the amount of fuel left in the tank. Once at maximum range, I would leave all of the meats in a pile for the zombies. This distraction would enable to me to hop back in and drive back to the town leaving the zombies, miles in the middle of nowhere.
Once I reached the town, I would return to the grocery store, and hopefully see a decent barricade having been constructed whilst I was gone. If it was unfinished, I would offer my assistance to Austin. We would subsequently sleep in shifts, and live off the food in the grocery store for as long as possible. --------------------------------------------------------------------
That's my scenario answer. Hopefully it's good enough to get in.
OK,so at school I get bored and I think....a lot.So I was thinking and I realized that most bakeries are typically 1 story high, and so they are typically not that high up.Well I then realized that if I had a fairly long steel beam that it could attack zombies from the roof of the building without us getting in harms way,so my new plan shall include that instead of one spare steel rod that I get two. Also I want to make a few notes.First off I was thinking when I made this that the Hardware store would be one of those larger hardware stores where they have basically everything yo could imagine, like all of the ones around here are like, and since you didn't specify what type of Hardware store at any time I think unless you say otherwise that I would like to stick with that in my plan.So pretty much I thought about a group of power tools I saw a while back that has everything I would need for this, and all of tools in the set are powerful, and run on the same exact batteries. They are still sold today. So that would help take care of any energy issues with the power tools, but even then I am not going to be using them that much,as it is a quick barricade made of some better materials that can hold up against things clawing at them,so I doubt I would need to worry too much about that.Next I would like to add that at most Hardware stores now they usually have tons of axes,so I would grab some higher quality axes from their,in case I actually need to take down zombies that get too close. If there are plenty extra of them,I could grab some smaller ones and use them as throwing axes for longer range. Now of course I wouldn't be the one throwing them though,as the Marine would probably.Anyways Lithium Batteries when exploded according to one resource can create heat up to 150C and not all propane tanks have high quality heat resistance.I saw a video while doing research of some kids throwing a propane tank in a fire, and it only taking less than a minute for it to explode. So I feel fairly confident in that part, but I could make a few changes if needed.
So those are all adjustments I want to make to my plan.If I need to I can rewrite the whole thing though to include the add-ons and adjustments.
