This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Can someone give me a lowdown on the last 30 pages? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I assume I have furniture, right?
There is not much we can do. Overall it's a pretty helpless situation. I would start by having Cliff blast the apartment complex with the opening riff in For Whom the Bell Tolls-- oh, wrong Cliff. Anyway, I would have Cliff chop up some furniture, being careful not to damage the nails. Those will be of use later. Second, I would deal with Emily. She serves no viable purpose right now. She is naught but excess luggage, something that would not be anywhere close to helpful. While this would probably not be good for my sanity, or my mental stability, what has to be done, no matter what. Next, once Cliff is done hacking up enough furniture to make a painful wall of spikes, but still quite strong, and making sure not to damage too many nails, I have us four build said barricade. Once that is done, we have Cliff, Carl and Bill take turns keeping watch, and I'll cook. That is all we can do. The end is near, so we spend the rest of the time playing cards, keeping watch, eating, and waiting to become chow.

Wow, that is not what I had in mind. (In a good way, I'm glad you used your head and brought about what it was)
I agree that it is mostly a hopeless situation. Where as, I didn't to beef up much of the survival for the group at hand. Since, this is more so what many would come across if it were a true Zombie Apocalypse.
Now, I understand why you did, what you did to Emily. As in she provided nothing but extra weight and held the survival of the group back by a lot in a sense. But I am sure, a lot of this could effect your sanity in the long run. Then again, being stuck in an apartment knowing that anytime the barricade could break, is torture enough.
About the wall of spikes. What purpose other then somewhat of a slow down does it serve? After all, unless those nails were to spike through the head, the zombies would not be effected much no?
Overall, I'd rate this of scale of 10 a 7.8. (Not a low mark, it's more so a realistic plan and that's what I like about it. It stays true to being realistic and you don't go Rambo like some who say they would. Oh yeah, plus a point for the Metallica joke.
...... God**** glitched up thread.... Is it me or does this place seem to have more glitches then usual.
Load already! I can't read or see any of the comments on page 397.......
Just what I was thinking XD

The wall of wooden spikes would more than likely keep them at bay by giving them splinters. In the long run, these splinters would cause some pretty bad infections.
Not to mention they will probably come at us with quite a bit of force, causing them to be impaled.

Can zombies get infected? I mean, their bodies pretty much shut down and the only thing that's being used (Organ) is the brain. So in a sense, infections, yes and no?
Throw in a scenario if you want. I need some zombie movies now....

Well, yes, if their flesh is, in fact, still alive. Infection is just abnormal flesh decay, similar to necrosis. Just necrosis is complete death of tissue.

No, no, it's just that I had pictured some of the zombies to be rather old and decaying already. Infection would only add to the end result not much else no?
We'll first after gathering everybody on thr 7th floor i'd start to get a few people to barricade the doors and the hallway near the stair well assuming if they (zombies) havent already infested that area.
For the person who can use the gun he'd have to give a crash course lesson on how to shoot without using any bullets to preserve ammo. then I'd tell everybody to gather food and weapons and try our best to hold out till things die down before the zombies try to get up to the 7th floor.
Now i know i have alot of flase but just help me out if i do ok. feel free to correct and or replace parts with personal info.

No, no, that was good. I really liked the fact that you had Bill teach everyone a little about how to shoot a gun. Which was a very neat touch. I mean, what good would it do you, if you didn't have the slightest knowledge on how to shoot one. Kudos on that man!
Barricade the hallways and doors. I understand the doors part, but how would you barricade the door ways? With furniture and whatnot I'm assuming.
Over all this was good, some detail was missing, but none the less, it was great!

Well, if it is using Alcotosis or Goliath (the scenario), the infected wouldn't begin to rot until after final death. Here is a list of the viruses that have been accepted.

Ahh I see. Well thank you for providing me with the list. I was not aware that Thoad had made a list of the viruses. That clears it up.
PS: HoodHulk, I meant hallways, not doorways. How would you barricade the hallways?
