I came up with this idea not to long ago but here is the basis of it. I will post a story probably every day and let people here debate if that person should be innocent or guilty. The story could be real or fake but I won't tell you. If you have a story that you want debated, comment my profile so I can find it easier. This thread is just to get people thinking about justice. All stories will be posted in this thread. If you need help finding it, just ask what page it is on. Here is the first story...

A man was walking on a woman's porch holding a knife. He has not entered the home. She notices him and looks out the window. He holds the knife out and laughs. The woman becomes scared and releases her pit bull outside. She calls the police and they arrive 10 minutes later. However, before they arrive, the dog attacks the man and he receives serious wounds. Now we are in the court room. The man says he thought he was at his friend's home. He says that his friend left the knife at his house and was returning it. The man meant no harm to the woman and demands that she pay his medical bills for the dog bites. So, we have a woman who believes it was self defense to let the dog go. She thought he would hurt her and trespassing so she thinks he should be put in jail. She also says she does not have to pay the medical bills. He believes the dog should be put down and the woman pay his medical bills. Who is right and who is wrong? You be the judge.

Remember, you are debating what you think should be done to the man and woman. There really is no right and wrong answer. It is how you feel justice should be carried out.

Xzeno, there is no legal drinking limit, there is only a legal drinking and driving limit (in my state it is .08 BAC and less, BAC stands for blood alcohol content).

Hmmm.
Well since you can't own a license and be blind, the blind man should be punished for that as well as reckless endagerment. As well they should get some kind of punishment for taking directions from a drunk man, as Mitch Hedberg once said drunk driving is just as bad as driving with a very persuasive drunk man...I'm thinking heavy fines with maybe a little jail time for both...

I think the blind man will get heavy fines and a little jail time, so will the drunk passenger.

i know the blind man will be fined w/ a chance of jail time, but what about the passenger? i don't know what he can get nailed for. i know it was incredibly bad judgment to let a blind man drive but bad judgment and being drunk aren't a crime. he should get into trouble but what for?

maybe he could be charged with ignorance of the law and held as an accomplice to the blind man's driving?

Ummm... What worse than a drunk driver? A Drunk driver giving directions. Hello people! A drunk driver is bad, but a drunk driver giving a blind man directions is worse. They should both be put in jail, or fined.

Oops, I meant to put the blind man should be put in jail. He probably didn't have a drivers license since I don't think you can get one if your blind.

I think that they should both get a DUI or a DWI and be sent to jail. They should have had a DD that could see. I don't even think that blind people can get a license, so another charge for the blind man is operating a motor vehicle without a license

Just so you guys know, a new story and the verdict will be released around 12-3 Eastern time. Here is the verdict of the last story.

Both men must pay nearly $1,400 in fines. The blind man is facing some jail time for endangering the safety of people.

Alright, here is the next story...

A college student had rammed another man's vehicle two times while they were on the highway. The student claimed the man was a terrorist. The student believes he is Jack Bauer from the TV show, 24. Before you start thinking of a verdict, listen to this. The victim had been living in the United States illegally. He actually provided the police with a fake address. So, we have a man who rammed an illegal immigrant's car. Who gets punished or do both of them? You be the judge.

The woman gets jailed for attempted manslaughter, and the illegal gets deported or jail for false information. simple as that.
