The classic argument over which came first.I wanted to bring this up, because I was thinking a little bit and realized something. Why do scientist believe that the egg came first, if it had no mother to lay it, then keep it warm, and also after the eggs hatched they would have no way of surviving on their own without a parent to take care of them.So why do some scientist think this way when it is common sense that the chicken came first.I want to here your opinions on this matter.

However Pyro, does every Scientist, every genius, agree with your statement or at least most of them agree with your statement? We also still have no proof so unless you have a Supah ultra great father or something that kept passing on the story of the answer for this, I ain't going to believe a word.

Well, the equilateral is not simply which came first, its what came first. See things do not stay the same, which means that neither came first, they came together.

Wow when I made this topic I didn't expect so many people to bring out all of these crazy science theory's and such.I'm just surprised that this got over 50 posts so far.I still believe though that the chicken came first, and Religious wise,Christians believe the Chicken came first.

Religious wise,Christians believe the Chicken came first.

Not necessarily...God could have made the egg that hatched the chicken! Ha ha ha!!

You still didn't counterargue my statements. You just did the opposite (which I also said not to do) and stated another argument.

If no one's gonna challenge mine, then I see no reason not to say that I have won this argument.

its the egg because before the first chicken egg was not a chicken but another creature that the chicken evolved from.

Sorry I didn't really pay attention to older posts all that much. Also about the idea you had that God made an egg that hatched. No that's not the case. This theory could go with just about any animal, including humans.Religiously humans did not start off as a Baby, and I would hope its the same with just about any theory.Wait it seems this did turn out to be kind of a evolution vs. Creationism Debate after all.

I think it'd be best if people elaborate on their views, because this really has become a debate.

The egg came first. Since the word "Egg" is a generic word, it could mean ANY egg, which eggs existed before chickens did.
Now if we where to say it HAD to be an egg that a Chicken laid to be an "Egg" then the Chicken came first, simply due to the fact it was hatched from a non-chicken "Egg".

So in the end - Egg came first, chicken came before the chicken laid egg.

So the egg came first but a chicken came before the chicken that laid the egg. That don't make any sense cowinpie.
