I think there should be incentives to recycle to grow into the habit of recycling. Since a law would be hard to enforce and seem a bit unrealistic to most people.
Yes DivineDarkness, more oxygen allows for larger bugs... lol. That is a scientific fact proven through paleontology. It would have to be a lot of oxygen though, we couldn't provide that much. But I don't think that is what we have to worry about here anyways!
As it has been said previously in this topic, the law would be more of a guidance and less strict at first. You can't make an entire population jump into something like that over night.
Recycling is common sence. Would you throw away a nail if you remove it and it was still stright, would you throw it out or put it back in the toolbox? That is the general concept.
I don't think it should be a law right off the bat. It would probably be best to start by circulating pro-recycling propaganda to get people behind the idea, then slowly implement quotas for recyclable material. I'm just saying this without research -- just an impulse -- so don't consider this to be concrete! I am always ready to defend this position, however.
it should be a law to do like paper and then another recycling system, but if yo don't then you shouldn't get put in jail, maybe just a little fine, would be best solution probably
On thought, it should be. It should not be too strict, like the law that says that you can't remove your matress tag. But it would motivate people. All recyling should then become free and more available.
In all the fantasies I've had of being supreme, but KIND dictator of my own country, recycling was a law. So yes. In my own version of an idealistic country, it should be, I believe, a law to recycle.
