yes I think it should be a law because the human race are going to die in hundreds of years if we don't recycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, that may be. But my question is what should they do as an incentive? For those states would it make sense to make it a law, since they do not offer cash incentives.

Well Sneaky, I don't know if I can agree that it will be quite that dramatic... lol. But i do agree that it would not be a bad idea to make it a law. We are polluting our planet with plastic, that even long after humans fall off the face of the Earth, will still be around.

Most plastics are made from oil, and the US gets most of its oil from the Middle East. The more plastics we make, the more oil we need to import.

Ok... what is your point?

Its just one more reason to have incentive programs to recycle.
