Hahahaha! I'm still amazed at how many people think it's actually illegal to rip off the mattress tag.
I'm totally going to dress up as the mattress tag police, raid people's houses and check for their mattress tags. Then I'll collect the $250 fine and be on my way.

Well, it should be, because if we don't recycle the whole earth would be covered in trash. And did you know that it takes couple of hundreds of years for plastic to decompose?

Even though my school is too cheap to recyle bottles, it uses silverware made from potatoes. No plastic, no glue, just potatoes. Our science class is doing an experiment. The potato forks are showing heavy decomposure signs, but the plastic are almost new.

It does not even take a couple hundred years for plastic to decompose. When man has died out and the world starts over, the world will still be littered with plastic. This is because there is nothing natural that can break it down or use it. Sure, over millions of years bacteria may develop that could start to decompose it. But hundreds of years? I wish!

I dont think recycling should be a law, but it should certainly be encouraged.

Personally i recycle most things that can be recycled and have done ever since i've lived away from my parents (who also recycle now...but were far to stubborn to start when i was trying to make them a few years ago!)

However, being threatened with fines and so on would make me far more reluctant to continue.

Gosh, why not load a bunch of garbage on a space traveling trash barge and fly it into the sun? I guess it would take a massive amount of fuel to do that, nevermind.

Eh.
I'm a right-winged, centralized-government fascist, but part of that is right-winged. The government shouldn't try and FORCE us to recycle, especially when enforcing that law takes away time from other things.
Then again, they'd get to write more tickets, and isn't that all they care about?

i believe recycling should be a law because if everyone recycled imagine the decreases of pollution, global warming.

Im sure everyone has noticed trash just laying around on the ground. Bottles glass paper and all that. I think we should at least make a huge effort to recycle because some of this stuff is killing animals. If we want to help are planet, we should recycle.

I think it should be a law, because soon were going to use up all the aluminum abd THEN the government will say well its almost all gone so NOW well recycle it
