Okay, this is pretty much a topic for Christians. Anyway, this has been a Gray Matter for forever with Christians, and I want to know what you guys think about this.

The big example people always come up with is this: If someone gave you a gun and told you to shoot either your friend or yourself, or else he'd kill you both, and you shot yourself, would you go to Hell? I mean, you saved your friend, but you committed suicide, which is unforgivable, right? What do you think?

I was taught that self-sacrifice was a super noble thing to do if it was neccesary.

lol thanks for that lesson DragonBallZ.

are you under the age of 10? i mean jesus christ "mr badman"
He did make a valid point.

The creator whould have said that you had to choose who would die, and the bad guy would shoot the person.

What i've realized is that NO ONE can answer questions like this as no one knows the mind of God.

Self Sacrifice for someone that you love or is a friend is an act of morality as you would be saving their lives.

Suicide is killing yourself for the benefit of no-one.

not killing yourself, but say it was to push someone out of the way of a speeding train, i would say god should treat you with honor, cause thats what you deserve, to end your own life to rescue someone else.

but what if someone built a contraption that made it look like you shot the gun to kill yourself and no evidence of the other guys being there?

God does not look down on someone for dying for someone else. Killing yourself for no reason means you have no value for the life he gave you, and he shuns that, but you never know. He may feel that the person who committed suicide was under a lot of stress, so he may give them life again in the future.

No I have not seen that one.

No one knows how god thinks.

True that, then maybe we would know when he comes to earth for the destroying of wicked ones. We could know that he permits badness to prove a point.
