My personal opinion is that guns are just fine. Guns help us provide security for our families if something ever happens, but I want to here your opinions.
If someone was smart enough to invade the United States, then the National Guard would be deployed. I'm sure citizens would be encouraged to purchase their own firearms in self-defense.
But when was the last time the United States was invaded and occupied?
The reason Japan did not invade the US was because of the second amendment. So you propose that no country could fight the national guard? And no, Drace, they just get you with a smart missile from 5 miles.

Guns are a good thing for society. They are how we can protect ourselves and enjoy ourselves. Many people think we should just let the police protect us, but a friend of mine had his house broken into in a town of 88,000+ and it took the police two hours to show up unprepared. Now, just imagine what the Charlie Manson fan club could have done in that time. We have the second amendment to protect ourselves from people that want to harm us and run away government. And anyway, does anyone in their right mind seriously think that if we ban guns the criminals will suddenly stop using them. We'll all be unarmed, they'll have a field day like they do in other countries.
guns dont kill people,but the guy who owns one can.
with the new gun tecnology(the eltric wich fires eletric bullets that stun the target),the murders by guns would lower and in the near future they may only stun the target giving time to take him down or to call the police.
if u are robed,the rober stole your money,you shot him,he is hit but he continues runing,days later,the rober is found died and your money isn't recovered,thats why the normal guns dosen't work,cuz they are tools of murder.but the new eletric guns can solve the case,i wonder if the future can be more peacefully with these guns...
