First of all, no posting religious comments about how stuff is wrong in this thread. Of course everyone is allowed to state their opinion, but Christians and other religious people who just post about premarital sex, same sex relationships and other deviations from the standardized common norm is wrong because their biblething says so, tends to ruin the healthy discussion. So please, if you have nothing else to say, don't bother saying it.

But to sum up (info taken from Wikipedia's article):

I'm fairly certain that two hours in an ice bath would kill you. An enjoyable story, but it sounds like someone made it up as a joke. Do you not get the joke btw? He works with dead people...probably sleeps with the dead people, so he wanted his wife to seem dead...ice cold, not moving... you guys seem like you think he enjoys cold lifeless bodies because hes really stressed at work.

ewww, necrophiliacs creep me out by a-ton. Why would anyone want to violate a freshly dead or otherwise barely alive person? That's just creepy to me =P. But I s'ose to most peolpe fettishes are creepy.

Actually, I would LOVE to work in one of those... The employees are always so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is nice.

There is 2 right across the street from my college that you can sign up for... If you want to learn Japanese and have the money to pay for a flight... But they're really nice people too.

Those employers are actually rather friendly. Thay probably have to be, since stuff like that is rather private for most people.

That would be a little similar to the alleged associations between pedophiles working at schools and in the clergy, I guess. What about vets, though...I don't think that one has really entered the public consciousness.

I rent a room in the house of a married couple of furs~

Ah, yeah, sorry, &quotsychosocial" is a medical buzzword. It's a combination of psychological and social factors, so what I mean is that the motivation to these behaviors are more to do with that than some kind of hardwired, deep-seated "attraction to fetishes".
