7) " And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels fought against
the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

So you believe dragons really exist as well?

9) Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know you brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings."

Stay firm in believing in the unproven? Is this really a reasonable thing to ask?

Also about the whole opening your heart to see the truth. So basically not only do we need to believe in something without anything to back it up, but we also have to have an emotional bias to that thing in order for it to seem real?

And finally saying the Bible proves Gods existence...

Well it's been nice participating in this forum that was started back in 2008. I guess MageGrayWolf and others just got tired of talking about heaven. Hey, D2, don't you ever apologise for your beliefs. You're correct, all of us should read our Bibles more often. I'll check back later to see if the mods have padlocked the thread.

Even if they do, we can start another one. Later. Peace to all.

So basicly if you read the linked above chapter of the book Ezekiel, which was written well over 3000 years ago (maybe more, I'm not sure) it's saying that a bunch of countries including Modern day Iran (Persia) and a place called Gomer (which I think is the one people say is modern day Russia) Attacked Isreal (the country) but God protected it in a supernatural way.

In 2007 or so, Iran got a new leader who swore he would wipe Isreal off of the map.
Following this, Russia and Iran became allies. Russia has already told Iran how to make Nukes, and Iran is less than a year away from makeing a working one.

Lets just sit back and watch this play out.

Actually Deagle, you need to know what your talking about before you comment. The jews have been at war before they could even have a country.

so... what you are trying to tell me is.... jews have been fighting people before Israel? They had their little Hebrew nation back in the 500 BC era I think. They got beaten by the vastly superior Assyrians. The jews then got Israel back in 1948. After The formation of Israel, Palestine and Egypt starting bullying little Israel. Israel kicked ass and won most of the Palestine area dominance. /short Middle East history

ttacked Isreal (the country) but God protected it in a supernatural way.

how so? Did God stop bullets?

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

This is bias information. The Bible only tells things through the way god want's you to see things. Before making a conclusion. you should investigate other sources of information.

) Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of he wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote."

What kind of wine was he drinking? There was probably a hallucinogen in the wine. That or there was a particular herb in this guy's hookah... When I drink wine, I normally don't see hands writing on the wall. Would the possibility of a little Hebrew prankster be plausible?

Read the link and I think you grasping at straws here. First your having to exchange one name for another. Second your prophecy is saying the army would all be riding horses. In today's age that don't make much sense.

Now if we had a prophecy that read like.

In 3000 years time in the year 2000 of that nations calender great flying metal birds will topple the twin towers which reach into the heavens.
To make it even better if the prophecy could actually say planes, this would be even better. Considering this would be a prophecy sent from God, what God was saying wouldn't have to make complete sense to the translator of that time, it would just have to make sense to us.

Yes, but it also says that Isreal will be burning Gog and Magog's weapons for 3 1/2 years.(Thats how big the attack will be) How do you burn metal guns?
Well, Russia is not making their guns out of metal. They use another alloy (whose name escapes me) that actually burns instead of melting.

If you would like for me to bore you with all of the different religious and scientific, including metaphysical texts I've ever read. And, by the way, that's going back to 1966. We would still be back at the same starting point.

In others words, I beleive what the Bible says because through My own research, personal experience(s) and knowledge of what it says, it's proven itself to ME to be true unlike all of the other texts I've read.

I have to trust what science tells me because I'm not a scientist, nor archaeologist, nor zoologist, etc. I have to read what they have "discovered" and make decisions based on "their" findings.

I'm only sharing what I believe heaven to be. If you need proof then it is up to you to prove or disprove the existence of heaven, not me.

Besides, wouldn't that be cheating? It's like you kicking back and having fun while everyone else in class studies and you come up and bully the geek into giving you his homework on the way to school, right?

Oh, just a thought, isn't there another thread called "If GOD created everything..." ?

Russia is not making their AKs out of steel? Evidence would be nice.

To the OP's theory of what heaven is: How could there be no sin if as humans we go to heaven? With humans comes sin, it's a basic principle of the human existence. If you think that your "soul" is going to heaven, then heaven doesn't really exist for humans does it? All of it is a load of bull and there are flaws in every theory involving God.

Ah yes I do know what your talking about they were showing this made on the NEws the other day but the alloy is some kind of weird lesser metal. It was very cheap if I do recall correctly.

There is an Invisible Flying Elephant. Now since I'm not a professor of theology then it's up to you to prove there isn't. Does that really make any sense to you? Oh, and this is a debate forum so yeah back your $&*! up.
