Does any one else have any views or opinions about that?

i heard somewhere that all these readings were just a satelite glitch

Hmm... well that is what they would like you to believe. But that is completely false. If you talk to any self respecting atmospheric scientist, they will all tell you the same thing: We are increasing the amount of CO2 in our atmosphere, and it is causing the Earth to warm.

It's true that the Earth is warming and that we are a part of it but I don't understand what we are going to do to stop it. Lessening the amount of carbon dioxide we put into the atmosphere will not make the Earth cooler. It will just cause the Earth to stop warming up. If we stopped pollution there is still a lot of carbon dioxide in the air and I haven't heard many ideas of how it be taken out of the atmosphere. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get rid of the carbon dioxide on our atmosphere?

Small bump, and interesting fact: There's as much proof that global warming exists and affects our environment negatively as that smoking causes lung cancer.

Ugh, that was a bit spammy but I see unadressed queries!

I'm really curious about the exactly implications of this statement. I'm very suspicious of the term 'cause' in medical contexts because we can only go so far as to draw strong primary associations, never so far as to say "we prove there is a cause". But I'm assuming this means that you're saying there's a strong link?

Reducing the ration of CO2 produced:CO2 reabsorbed is the first priority. Reducing our emissions is one thing, but it seems the most important step to actually absorbing CO2 is reforestation, because plants take in CO2 as part of their respiratory processes.

This is a bit random, and I really don't know much about it.

I read that cows are really a bigger problem than anything else. It said something about the process of getting a burger is more hazardous to our environment than driving to get it. Was this ridiculous?

Yea cows add to the problem, but it is harder to reduce that than our activities. We can't go and slaughter a ton of cows to reduce CO2, when we can do it by being more eco-friendly in our homes and with transportation.

Global Warming is a hoax. It's total crap. Every word of it. Read the book "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton. This book, along with some discussions, opened my eyes to the fact that global warming does not exist.

Care to give any actual evidence? Or are you just blindly following the opinion of one persons book? I would like you to find me a reputable scientist that refutes global climate change is occurring right now.

Uh, go read the book. I don't have references ON me...Sorry for not being a science nerd, but uh yeah, they're in there.

What I am saying is that I want YOU to give me an example. If it is such a good book, you should at least remember one piece of evidence. Especially since it must be evidence that says that all of the other scientists in the world must be wrong. That must be pretty big.
