Ninjacube, did you read anything of what I had previously written? I didn't think so.
The thing is, the ocean and the atmosphere are linked. The fact is, if we screw up the oceans, our atmosphere will fail as well. When we put enough freshwater into our oceans, the thermohaline circulation will be disturbed, and the way our atmosphere has been run for millions of years will shut down. How the ocean moves drives our weather. Once that shuts down, expect hurricanes and storms where they weren't before. Expect ice and snow to creep farther from the poles. Everything about our atmosphere that you love and take comfort in its consistency will be gone.
It surprises me that people tend to be so ignorant about the ocean, when it is what keeps this entire world running the way we know it.
Carlie, i'd be willing to be 10$ that he was being sarcastic...he stated somewhere that he uses it a lot on these forums. And i have seen him do it 2-3 times today.
I know. I was just letting you know that that's what it was, because he had said it and i don't think he's going to reply anytime soon. (Sarcasm only goes over well when you make it realllllly obvious, and at that point its probably going to be spam....)
Ok, if you want me to stop using sarcasm over the internet then so be it. You can go ahead and continue talking about global warming because I don't have the willpower to research anything right now.
It's alright, it is just hard to be able to distinguish if someone is being sarcastic or not over the internet. Unless like eyetwitch said, it is really obvious.
Global warming is a huge issue...if you guys want to do anything about it then you should join the EPA. That is the Environmental Protection Agency...you can really make a difference there.
You're Global Warming has nothing to do whit religion, it has to do whit us. I live here in Finland (Arcit Circle). And when it has ben winter theese 2 last years, i haven't seen nothing white on the ground (snow if you stupid didn't understand). And all the years before it had snowed so much that at the morning the door would be stuck when it was covered whit snow. And the summer? Raining and wet, there's even snowing here right now, AND IT'S SUMMER!! I don't know where you live but here is it summer, and the sun should be shining, BUT IT'S SNOWING. Is this just something that happens 1 time and never happens again? Maby, i'll just got to see the whole summer what the weather is, then can i write back here what i think.
There is soooooooo much evidence supporting global warming. Far more than the two pages you mentioned in the other thread. You say some places are getting colder. If you knew anything about the subject you would know that the world's temperature will increase by 5degrees C on average. The theory is that even thought the temp will go up on average the cold places on the earth will get colder and the hot places will get hotter.
This theory has been disprved. It is true that the earth has Ice Ages and warming ages but compared to the rise in temp now this cannot be true. The last siginificant warming period happened in Medieval times. This warming period was 1000 times smaller thanthe temp increase we have today. so boalx u r wrong.
