I saw yet another video of a group of protestors burning the American flag. The disgust me! Please tell me someone else out here agrees that it is wrong and should be illegal.
I think it should be illegal as it is disrespectful to people who like their country. I am actually british but i still think they shouldnt be doing it. The same as is someone burnt the union jack i would be real angry.

Well if you love your county your not suppose to have something with a Swastika on it. And the nazis were not a country and they are really no more.
No more? I would disagree. There is a Nazi party in, I believe, Scotland. And if you walk around night in my town, sometimes you can find some Nazi punks. And why not get the swastika for the purpose of burning it in protest?

They are nothing more then a nusence. If I sat here and told you yeah it's ok to burn a swastica that would be contradicting my point that it should not be right to burn a nation's flag in protest. I am not going to be biased in this dibate. I say burning any flag in protest esp. those of a country should be illegal.
Why would you want to be in this country if you hate it so much you want to burn the flag? It should be illegal, because I don't want these f.ucking anti-americans citizens having the right just because they have the nerve.
You know, Penn & Teller burn a flag at the conclusion of their stage show at the Rio in Vegas. Not because the hate the U.S.A. - quite the contrary. They burn the flag - not out of anger, but because they love the country so much.
Go around the world - what countries are so free that you can walk up to the capitol building & burn her flag in an expression of free speech? I would think of it as a statement and testament to the incredible freedom & democracy of the U.S.A.

The supreme court has already ruled this to be legal and as a freedom of speech in the landmark case: Texas vs Johnson (1990). The freedom of speech extends to expressive rights.
Though it will still offend people but you are protected within your amendment rights to burn the flag.
Flag Burning, to burn an American Flag is disgusting. Our Veterans fought and put their lives on the line to protect their country. When burning the United States flag you are taking the Eagle's Talons and Stabbing them in our veterans back.

I hate that view of "My daddy fought for this flag" no hae fought for what it represents. A Hicks line here I think of... "my father fought in 'Nam for that flag" "oh really mine was made in vietnam what a coincidence" If I saw a burning flag of saint george what difference would it make. I would prefer someone to innocently burn a flag than to start kiling people etc. If they can output their anger and hatred on something like a flag great.
