Yea, as agent said. If you put a block of ice on a burning match head, the fire would die out, but if you drop a small cube of ice into a bonfire, the fire would conquer. So it depends on how much of each element.
it is impossible they bolth have weaknesses and strengh and they over come each other but most ppl belive that fire would win ice cause it would melt it.
Hey i find there both pretty equal in some ways the fire beats ice sometime's and the ice beats fire depending on how big the fire ice or how big the ice is.
Ok if the amount where the same and the fire had infinite fuel and the temperature was below freezing, fire would win. For water is not ice, just the liquid form. So water is not part of this vs. match so I say fire. But it ALL depends on amount.

fire no doubt, it would melt the ice right away..obvious.
Thats if it was inside a block and would be impossible to start because the person trying to light it would never be alive, thus ending in a forfeit win..but yeah fire, in an open battle.
