Trying to counter an unlimited amount of fire with an unlimited amount of water(because we can put whatever obstacle we want) is not going to get you anywhere. Fire gets put out by water, and water evaporates by fire, they only conquer each other is if you have a unbalanced situation(e.g. Match Vs. Ocean/Squirt Bottle Vs. Raging Wildfire), so yeah.
However.... If I had to choose for a power, I'd choose fire, If I had to choose for climate, I'd choose ice, If I had to choose for entertainment purposes, I'd rather stare at fire than an ice cube.
Well, fire would probably win, because if fire was to melt the ice, it would be come water, and then it technically wouldn't be ice anymore, so it would win..
..but if you obviously a block of ice and a matchstick, it would be different...
But that's a dumb theory, if you put five billion cats agains a gorilla, the cats are going to win...
this is a question that most people do not understand fire melts ice into water but water puts fire out and ice freezes water but fire melts ice but if i had to choose id say ice because it keeps us cool here in puerto rico
what you guys don't understand is that the fight is between Fire and Ice forget water because it's not included. Don't for get that ice melts at temperatures over 0 degrees celsius. And lets assume that the ice doesn't melt due to the temperature of the surrounding area and the fire has unlimited fuel. The heat from the fire would melt the ice, therefore the ice is no morewhat is left is water not ice i don't care how you put it but strictly to the rules fire wins because ice is no longer left standing.
random_player, if ice ruled the world, anpther ice age would come and the people who support ice will die sucking on ice cubes (or icicles). Smarter people will build a [fire] and keep warm in some underground bunker or some thing.
