In these troubling times we see in the news that more and more people are losing their jobs. Hence, we see a rise in criminal activity. There was a news article that just recently caught my attention in the Wall Street Journal, âBusinesses Say Theft by Their Workers Is Up.â Here is the link to the article if you wish to see it, just copy and paste it in your search bar:
I am going to repeat: The only way to steal for survival, is stealing bread. But we are in times that the only way to steal bread is to steal it from supermarkets - and it's too hard. So, the solution is, to steal from a smaller shop - but the owner of this shop is probably struggling for life too, as the only business he has is this.
It's all a big chain, so the best solution would be to beg, try to stay away from trouble and trying to get food and shelter in special centers.
Now, if you have a family, it's a whole different story. Things could be so much different, you need to feed them all, and if you sleep on shelters you will be separated by gender and a lot of dangerous things can happen...
What is so hard about walking into a store at 1am and walking out with a bag of food? It happens all the time. The stores even expect it. It's called spoilage. A nice word for expected theft.
Just in general stealing is wrong in any form but when the worlds in turmoil and everyones frweakin out cuz of a natural disaster, looting is a must lol.
"If youre not cheating, your not trying hard enough"
What if youre starving, no money whatsoever... where are you going to go? How would you "contact the government to get money" What resorts do you have left? choice 1 Die Choice 2 steal something so you can hold on longer.
I personally would raid Cabelas then set up my tent under a bridge with a bunch of other hobos to spend the rest of my days...
Stealing for survival is fine. Death or the risk of jail. Though since its only for survival (i.e. a little bit of food) it would probably be a ban from that shop. As long as you steal from a big corporate chain that wouldn't notics, they steal from small local shops anyway afterall.
