Hey, just because he was president when the crisis happened doesn't mean he did it, it was set in motion before he even got in office. Congress obviously wanted them passed becuase they were WARS. How did he take away our liberties?

notice i never actually advocated the abolition of political parties, i just stated that people shouldnt attatch themselves to parties as they do now but think more about individual issues and not let party allegiance define them.

The five wars in which the United States formally declared war are the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, the Spanish-American War, WWI, and WWII. all the others are considered "conflicts" this is allowed because if we had to go to congress every time there was a problem the whole world would know about our plans and it would take way to long to take any action. This is why the president has the power to mobilize troops. but if congress decides they do not like the war they can stop funding. and without funding there can be no war.
Seriously, people have their own tastes when it comes to TV. Just because you dislike it doesn't mean other can't people can't. I prefer it over American TV. The comedies far surpass the crap you find over here.
