I came home all the way from bloody Yorkshire and was looking forward to playing a lovely bit of GH4. I turn it on and lo and behold the 3 red rings appear. I try all the advice they give u on xbox 360 website but i am convinced it is a hardware problem and will probably have to send it off.
It is this type of thing that makes me want to go out and buy a PS3 *blasphemy*
As much as I like the xbox belive it is despicable that Microsoft allowed the 360 to be released without fixing such a serious fault in the machine. What do you think?
Heh I had a Ring of death before about 3 weeks ago, I saw it and I drastically turned it off as fast as I could, then pressed the big circle once more and it was all good, scared the living hell out of me because my brother made it have it but oh well it's gone now, try returning it to the place to bought it for a new one or let them fix it :]
well i dont think i have anything to worry about for the next 5 years because i got a 5 year worntey so : P and i got the pro but my bro's PRO got the red ring and he had to buy like 8 more xboxes and now hes getting a PS3 : ' (
That is why I have a PS3 and the 360 elite. Although I still cannot believe Microsoft released a console with fatal flaws. How hard would it have been to test it or just wait to release the console until it was really ready to be released. In my opinion they should stick with computers and leave the console making to sony and nintendo.
Meh ppl say it happens to the ps3... but i gotta be honest its a bunch of massive BS... As every1 i know who has the ps3 has not had to turn it in.. Neither have i... and ive had it for 2 years now. But i gotta say that even if it did, most of my friends within last year alone had to turn it in 3-4 times... and this makes me wonder, are 7 ppl mistreating there systems, or is it the fact that the xbox breaks easily... I gotta say the second one sounds more realistic. Cuz one hates playing cuz he thinks its very nerdy, but plays when ppl are over... Anyways even if my ps3 breaks it still has a 1:4 ratio. 4X stronger, at least at the moment im at right now. Those of u who have it break, have u restarted when its downloading new updates? Turned it off when your dling sumthing? Cuz thats kinda what happens... It breaks when ur dumb enough to turn it off while it says "DONT TURN OFF SYSTEM" in big letters in center of screen....
