To anyone who wants to be an ArmorGames Moderator: Answer me two questions. Why do you want to be a Moderator and if you were chosen, what are some of your ideas/suggestions for bettering(is that a word?) the ArmorGames Community?
I had a suggestion and people were like "ZOMG WHY WOULD WE DO THAT?"
Then Carlie combined a bunch of the stickied threads because we had too many (my suggestion was to do this, if it was planned to be done or not before my suggestion I do not know) and what do you know? A bunch of people start posting "Good job doing this! This is much better than before!"
If I were offered the opportunity to be a mod, I would probably take it. I imagine some people like to have the responsibility to do more than review and rate to help improve armorgames, like cleaning up spam, helping people be recognized for merit-worthy comments and so on.
If I were a moderator, I would do all I can do to help out my favorite game site, doing the regular duties of a mod.
Ehh emm being a mod i not for fun it is a very seriors job spammers could slow down the sight therefore mods have the power to stop this so the reason for mods is for the greater good of armourgames
If I were a mod, I'd probably be like Loki from Norse mythology, where I'm still mod, but I'd be hated by all of the other mods because I'd always mess with people's profiles, and lock topics just for fun, and after a while, the mods would come get me, stick me under giant boulder and tie me to it with my entrails for me to stay until Ragnarok.
What? Now my brain hurts, are you mimicking someone? I would only be a mod if it was offered, I don't care one way or another. Though having a ban-hammer/crossbow would be awesome. Yeah, if I was a mod I would see if I could get a crossbow. But I still don't really care. Anyway, yeah.
Well Destor, the weapon would be of your choosing. How it works when you are a moderator, is that you plug into the mainframe of the site. You get to choose your armor, weapon, etc. Then we run around through the endless accounts, shooting peoples armatars. It's a good workout.
Hahah, it'd be pretty awesome to be a moderator, but it'd be quite a challenge to keep up with all the spam. Plus, it's way easier to find spam, flag it, and allow the moderators to do their job.
Nice. Kinda like playing one of those old shoot-outs, where the picture pops up and you have to hit it. And sometimes a civilian pops out, and you have to not hit him. I guess for banhammers it is like whack-a-mole? You just got me interested in being a mod, now I go on the "stupid hopefuls" list. Dang.
Is that why people keep asking the mods for new armatars?
No. See, we can track the changes of armatars. So even if you change your armatar, we can still tell that it is you. We get our tracking device to hunt down the offending user, and then terminate the creature representing the member.

Well, its a little bit more sophisticated than that. More like a safari-type setting. We have to be all stealthy like, hide in the brush... and take aim smoothly and quietly. Hunting rule breakers can be quite difficult at times.

Especially when someone else jumps in front of you and you know what happens next...
So an old-fashioned sniper-type game then. Nice. At least it is a way to enjoy your job. What do you do to the spam? Is locking threads like a minigame?
