What i was saying is people are finally starting to stop kissing his butt and actually have an opinion.
I wouldn't have said "kissing his butt" so much as "hating on the old administration", though for our purposes they can be considered one and the same.
I fully expect Obama's approval rating to drop quite low, as approval ratings are also a barometer of morale in general. And as everybody expects and is steeling themselves for, these are tough times ahead.
I'm also waiting for the "everybody get along because we can't afford to be petty" honeymoon to fade.
Obama is a good choice, he won't stand anti-racist. But his stimulus package contains some useless things. He funds projects on smell or something like that. I read it in the papers. But he does care about the people. Though its too early to judge him. Bush was popular early on jsut to give an example.
Screw obama people praise I'm surprised the first church of obama hasn't been built yet............ And they praise him for doing nothing besides being black which people should really shut up about i mean really who cares. praising the first black president is just a way for racist people to seem less racist. And if he wanted to get us out of this economic crisis he would give tax cuts cause i just did some digging and i learned that 40,000 new yorkers are paying for 95% of the taxes.

What!? Hell, I praise Obama because he's smart and he works hard. He put himself through Harvard Law with almost no assistance. I'd say that if you looked at how he got to where he is, then it would be hard not to praise him. Also, tax cuts would just weaken the government, so we would have a hard time bailing out companies that need it. Some tax cuts would be good, but we need to be smart on them. Besides, that wouldn't help the people who don't pay taxes because they are unemployed. We need to help unemployment, the credit markets, and the cashflow system to get out of this crisis and all major tax cuts do for that cause is to help the people who aren't in trouble, and it makes it almost impossible for the government to get a bailout through without borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars from China. The very conservative, laissez-faire economics were mainly what this country ran on. . .then came the Great Depression. Giving giant tax cuts like you are suggesting is short-sighted and just stupid in the long run.

I was slightly amused when I heard the majority of cash payout done through Centrelink in Australia that was supposed to boost the retail sector instead went into savings (duh), and the majority of the rest went into buying recreational drugs (duh).

*pitied giggling* -------- Obama isn't perfect, and the stimulus isn't perfect, but he's already much better than Bush, and at least he's in-tune with what the people are actually saying. Bush, for example, thought that we were mad about Katrina because he didn't land Air Force One in Baton Rouge. We were mad because of how messed up FEMA was and how he didn't send help or even seem to care for weeks! At least Obama knows what we're saying and why.
Does it help that obama knows what's going on because he's being praised? OK, you know what? I am just glad we have a president who is cool. For the past 3 presidential terms, we have been ruled by a Clinton or Busch. Now that we have a good president, people are so used to being mad at our president that we cannot stop. Can't we appreciate what we have for once?
