yes, but when the do post it out there, pixie or thisisnotanalt dumps a bunch of proof on them that shows the universe hasn't been around forever.

i posit that the sun F'ed some asteroid and the offspring are the planets and whatnot we have today now you may be asking where the sun and asteroid came from well you all assume that time is linear and that something has to be created in order to exist in your fictional linear time line
or
a race known as the "Ancients" also known as "Lanteans" and "Alterans" created all life in the milky way with a device located on a planet known as Dakara

i'm kinda leaning towards the first one

This thread is turning into an argument between atheists and Christians/other believers. Both are simply theories, but if I had to believe a theory, I would believe in science and not a two-thousand-nine-year-old myth.

Hate to break it to you, but the myth of God goes back further, and if you mean the myth of Jesus, that didn't start in year 0, but 32 AD.

It's actually thought he was born sometime between 7 and 2 BC, and died 26 to 36 AD.

Jesus started preaching and doing miracles at thirty, he was crucified at 32.

There was no year 0...
Besides, the calendar has been altered so many times in the past 2000 years that it's pretty hard to even tell how much time has actually passed since year 1.
