I thought pilot had Jesus and another man and pilot asked the huge crowd (wating to hear his decision) who he should give mercy to. They all shouted arabis ( i think that was his name so he had Jesus crucified even though he knew Jesus wqas innocent.
He was not God, he was the son of God. He was referred to as Lord. Yes, he was a great teacher and that's why many followed him.
It's refered to as the Holy Trinity. God is himself, Jesus and "the holy spirit"
It's confusing but the best I could conjure when learning about it in school was that God put himself on earth in human form to die for our sins. Now, even though he was himself, he was his father because God is the creator of all humans.

I disagree with you. I don't think you can claim Jesus was a good moral teacher and @ the same time claim He wasn't God.
Jesus made these claims throughout his life. *That He was God *That He along could forgive sins *That the only way to Heaven was through a relationship and belief in Him
I believe this makes him 1 of 3 things. 1.) Lair (Claims to be God but knows he isn't) 2.) Lunatic (Thinks he is God but is mistaken) 3.) Lord (He actually was who he claimed to be)
I'm not sure of the ins and outs of that the Jesus thought and taught (not everything anyway) but some were good the eternal pain thing less so. I don;t think they cancel it out though. Thanks I never thought of ot like that.

people in his time saw him as a lunatic, so why wouldn't we? the stories told in the bible weren't written in the time Jesus lived. It first was going around like a storie and as you know a storie gets 'modified' every time someone tells it to someone else. I'm a Atheist btw
