First off, I want to tell everyone that I do not mean this offensively. It's just a suggestion. I hope to NOT get a lot of negative feedback.
Okay, to the mods and admins: For some reason, you guys are different from us average users(Please don't list them by power). Fine, but there are some things that you could improve on:
You're voice. I'm not saying that you're dull and boring. I'm saying that the only person that has a childish posting style is Zophia. The rest of you, you just write normal posts that explain what you want to say and is straight to the point. But that's kind of well... a bit boring(please don' tell me of my controversial statements. I know! But my vocabulary is very low at the end of the day).
I'm not asking the current mods to change their life style.
My suggestion is, that the next mod(who will probably turn up in the next year or so(hopefully)) should be someone who is popular among the members because they are a good site member while also colorful and exciting.
This post may be a bit too far into the future thing, but I believe it could really help out.
I've sorta judged Carlie without knowing her... Ehem, not too well~
Also, almost all the mods have contributed something (other than time and patience) to the site. We have Artists (Estel, Strop Strap, Zophy), musicians (Uber, Estel again), I think Dank does coding or something... I may have nissed some but...
especially in the Art section, we are all stoned there
We are not stoned.........We just like coooollloouuurrrssss.....
In my opinion...Strop and Zoph are lighthearted...although some of the time I don't bother reading what Strop writes because it is usually too long winded and complicated...
I don't have much contact with the other Mods...NoName is funny sometimes...especially with the speak in riddles and rhymes thing...
I should probably get out of the Art Forums sometime and spend some time in the other sections...but...I like my niche....*pass the dope Cen...*
On the topic of getting a new Moderator that is colourful etc...I think a responsible one would be more vital...Although...I cannot see anyone that fits this bill around...(remember im an Arty...and just stick there...)
*passes dope* Hmm, still remembering the thread about who should be the new mod in the Tavern (it scared me). The reasons given to choose Shin was that he was responsible and so on. Firetail was suggested for the reason of being cool, responsible and popular, and then brought down because he was not social enough. Cannot remember who was suggested as well, though, but it seemed like responsible was the major reason for people to choose the user.
*sniffs* Firetail is one of the obvious choices made by the community for a Mod...because everyone knows him...and he has like ZOFMG over 30000 points!
I seemed to have missed that thread in the Tavern...*wonders*
Hmm...how active in the forums was NoName before he suddenly became a mod? Because I didn't really know him...I thought he had left after the Golden Days...but he suddenly turned up as a mod...so I was a bit

I didn't know Strop Strap before he was a mod... And I've never seen DM do anything when she wasn't/isn't a mod.
*mails cookies to mod HQ*
I don't think a new mod is necessary (D*** that's hard to spell) at the moment.
Umm Strop began with the 'Your Medical Questions Answered...'
Carlie saw that he was a smarty-pants so he became a mod...I remember telling Strop how much easier it would be for him to control the aforementioned thread easier while being a mod...however it soon died...
Nooo.. They need cookes... :< Locked thread of new modliness But, well, if the mods and Carlie haven't had time to get together to spin the wheel (and bet on the outcome), well, there is little chance a new mod will come up just yet.

I'm starting to think NoName's 'How to become a moderator' thread had more truth in it than we thought.
