Now that I've gotten that across pretty quickly, of course he can't have that go into effect, because it IS unconstitutional. People have rights to use guns. I would add something to that to take away that right to those that have used guns to commit crimes in the past, so that they no longer repeat them again. It happens all the time.
As for me, no... I wouldn't ban guns. We need them for hunting, for fun (paintball, although even these can get dangerous and fatal sometimes), and for ceremonies. I would think that people who want to have guns should have a strong license for that, but I guess no one has ever thought of it....

Anyway, I don't think guns need strong licensing, they just need strong training! Guns aren't toys, thus shouldn't be used as one. If kids are brought up the right way, meaning, parents teaching kids not to play with them... Until they are old enough to learn to shoot properly (In my case, I was 3 the first time I went shooting). It's people who kill people... Stop blaming the object! You don't see people wanting hammers or crowbars banned because they hurt people!
