I've restarted, and am doing a bit better-wave 68, and i'm about 25% of the way to having the desired level of firepower( which is 10 gems with 50,000 max damage). My score is a little lower, but i'm not concerned about it. ... This time, i'm waiting till later (at least wave 120) to set up prismatic traps.
oh, yeah, this will work!* wave 75, and 3 gems to 50,000 damage, plus 2 at 25,000.
*there are three major assumptions this rests on; my computer doesn't restart, the trap damage/wave is at worst max damage*firerate/2, and that red/cyan traps won't give me as much lag as prismatic traps.
1.) going back over your r/o traps with an additional orange makes the splash radius like 15.4 or something which is i belive the lowest possible splash radius to still hit 5 targets, and it nearly doubles dmg per hit
2.) when starting prismatics, start from the back and not the front this way they travle the whole way before getting stopped instead of piling up at the front they hit that wall at the back of the farm

yea my game is doing better than ever, finaly grasping angering.
know why they call it anger now, i had 700 monsters and every trap covered with 5 monstesr, pretty evenly spaced then the runners passed the giants and before you konw it i had a 20 space gap, i was pissed so i super angered the next wave to give me around 300m score (which im like wave 25 so at this point thats alot, most of my waves are 50-100m) and then boom no more gap and i continued this.
going for 1k monsters or more now then cutting it at wave 40 so i can prepare for 42
Oh man. I've restarted from lvl 0 wizard (new game) and now I'm at lvl 18 and I can't create a sufficient mana farm on endurance level at the first level! I keep losing at wave 28 or thereabouts. It sux being a low-level player at this game, I've forgotten how hard it is.
yep Karsten, you are to make L/O towers instead of R/O traps, and use R/O traps from grade 6 upwards, if you'll have enough mana to create em, before that grade 2-3 pure orange are your best bet at mana farming. You will have to put emphasis into towers and not traps, and not call many monsters at once.

Armourknight, you should definitely try playing GC0, and yes, it's a bit like normal GC with more features.
wave 87 called, I now have 7/10 gems with 50,000 max tower damage-I should even be able to bring a few to 100,000 max damage before wave 150. I circled all but one of the towers with powerfull gems: http://tinypic.com/r/24o3n7t/3
fractal dont forget to put those 10 gems at the END of your path so the monsters have to travel the length of the mana farm before getting piled up and annihilated
ah ok after seing pic i see you did, good job, but yea your not as high score as last game i see but you do have better defence so my advice is super-anger 90 + 91 to like 10b score each
i hope to reach 6b by wave either 42 or 53 where ill have probably 20b
