Nice contribution there.

To be honest "Stocks and stones may break my bones etc." they are just words and it is beyond me why they are deemed do offensive.

I'm pretty sure it came from the desire to exclaim when angered or in pain...insults probably came next...

Personally, when I hear a cuss word used in everyday conversation, my view tof the speaker drops by a lot...

I think they have uses in expressing severe emotion (or when hyperbolizing the expression of severe emotion, to be used in a joke), but severe words (F, Sh, Cu) should stay out of common conversation.

Maybe its because they are mad. whats more convincing? "im mad at you" or droping a couple f bombs? it may be stupid but it gets the point across.

I think it's just a way to express yourself. Also some people may do it to intimidate there enemy or something. You also may do it out of anger because you know it's bad and some people do bad things when there angry.

Curse words are just slang. Kind of, well actually exactly like cuss. They just have different reasons for existing. Although I could then say that the word cuss offends me because it saddens me to see where the english language is going. Hypothetically speaking of course.

Used to swear for both reasons, now just when I'm pissed off. I think it's better that way, because when you get into a habit of cursing, you may curse in front of a G audience.

The only time I cuss in my life is when I'm really pissed off, which doesn't happen often. I think it's lame how when people aren't supposed to cuss, they pretend there cussing, shuch as, saying SHIIIIIII, or FUUUUUUUHHHH, BIIHHH. Or, my favorite, YOU A HOLE! (Mostly used by little children.) =P
