This news will upset some of you. This news will gladden some of you. This news may be met with a "this issue is dragging on far too much" by most of the rest of you.
Then sterile marriages or marriages that do not end up with cildren are ewually as wrong.
Uh, no. I was actually only saying that since most couples live together and sleep together anyway, marriage doesn't add to much to their actual relationship. I think a marriage should include these things, but since everyone's a little too horny to wait for that, I had only one thing that separates marriage from dating. And whether or not gay marriage is morally right, gays can't have biological children.
No,being a gay is a choice.
No it isn't. Acting on it is a choice, a hard choice at that. Being gay cannot be controlled.
Gays can`t be borned like gays, because every man is borned by non-gay actions.
Are you saying gays choose to become homosexual and be discriminated against? Nobody would ever do that. Are you saying gays choose to act on it? Yes they do, and I don't agree with it, but you have to admit that it's a hard urge to resist. Are you saying the early, unintentional actions of children determine their sexual attraction? If so, that's not a choice.
He probably meant every gay has a choice whether or not to act on it. I can't change my sexual attraction (not that I'd want to), but I can choose whether or not to act on it.
I watched the TV show when men talked about being a gay, some man told everybody that he was a kid when he felt love for another boy,he told himself this:this ain`t normal,I need to relax, and after 3 days the "strange mutated felling was gone"-he told this, and he sad this:"every gay has choice not to be gay".

Why should gays have to choose not to act on their attractions, any more than straight people?

I don't know how that quote implies which choice gays should choose. Read a few quotes back, I was actually defending gays. And I don't vote along this issue, so it's not that important to me. But I feel it violates what our bodies are created for. I'm not going to stop others from doing what I believe is a violation of the human body, and nobody has to argue against me. I was stating my reasoning, not responding to any arguments. I would only really care if it somehow negatively affected somebody else if they act on their attractions.
But I feel it violates what our bodies are created for
The human body was not designed to go into space yet no one protests against astronauts.
This is the 21st century, living in a supposedly free, fair society one should be able to choose their sexual preferences without being accused of being a freak of nature.

Told you I don't care, and I never accused them of being freaks of nature. They can't help their attractions, and resisting the urge is very difficult as well. I just feel it's not the right thing to do, I'm not going to judge the people who do it. I don't know them, and I don't know their circumstances. Like I said, it doesn't matter to me so long as they keep it to themselves.
No, I have religious reasons mostly. If there is no god, they can do whatever they want, there's no reward for their abstinence then. Plus I don't know any gays (or know for sure), so I might be using harsh words without realizing it. If that's the case, sorry about that.
How so? Gay marriage has nothing to do wih polygamy.
Well, what are the arguments you'd make as to why polygamists should not be allowed to marry? If three people all love eachother why are they different from 2 people of the same gender??
What I'm getting at is that marriage can either be restricted to man/woman, or open to polygamy & marriage. The middle ground wouldn't work (for very long).

Actually the extremes is this case would be to let no one marry at all, or allow everyone to partner as they choose. We're already standing on the middle ground, which is why arguments against gay marriage are so controversial.
I notice u siad "artner," meaning 2 people. Group is more accurate.
And this isn't middle ground! This is like making a game where a boy has to catch a girl (like tag), which is by definition boy/girl, and then saying that that is the middle-ground option. That is the base, and the extremes go onwards after that.
