Yup. Some people seem to think that terrorists are everywhere and are out to kill them, thanks to Fox news. Terrorism, while serious, has been overplayed in the last few years. Ever since the September 11th attacks, its been used to justify way to many things.

It is a threat definently but not to a great extent that you "freak out" about it. Maybe it is different in America and England though we have had attacks on us. Personally I'm not that worried.
For me, yes and no. I agree that events like 911 and the 7/7 bombings in London are often used by the government to create legislation retsructing civil liberties, (read Terrorist Act/Patriot Act). However I was on the train before the one that got bombed on Liverpool Street, going into Convent Garden on the tube. That ain't cool.
I also think the recennt fuss about Pakistani student migrants to the UK is detracting from the very real problem of domestic terrorism that exists in the UK. It is all too easy to become radicalised in Muslim communities in the UK. Politicians need to stop banging on about student visas and face the problem of domestic terrorism.

I think people worry more about it then they should. I live in Australia and we got this hotline set up that we could call if we saw anything suspicious. That has been since september 11. Keep in mind Australia has never been attacked. It's just fear mongering.
