Agreement... I agree because it is a bad thing for people to do. And even if it legal, it is against the Law so that if they do watch pornography, the are breaking the Law. I also think it should be illegal because in the Bible it says, PORN IS BAD!
Disagree... I disagree because sometimes pornography is good. For example, when you are at a Sperm Bank, where do you think the sperm came from? You probably would suggest that the male used pornography to masturbate causing the sperm to come out. So, pornography could be used for a good thing.
I'll comfortably sit here and say that there isn't a single person on here that hasn't masturbated to porn of some sort. Its pretty hypocritical to say its bad when you've looked at it.
It might incline some non-sexual offenders to actually commit the crime. Watching nudity as opposed to touching it is very different.
In theory I see your point but in practise it has done alot more good than harm. The fact that the overall sexual crime rate has lowered shows that even if non sexual criminals turned into rapists and the like it is making things better overall anyway.

I don't think it should be illegal, I just don't agree with it and think it's immoral. I was arguing about something else and just throwing stuff out there for people to discuss. But people do to themselves what they want.
I disagree because even though Porno tends to get men (and women) sucked into a world completely different from their own, it still keeps a sex drive controlled for people who aren't so easily addicted. I mean, masturbating dry gets a little boring, I know. That's why porn was even made, in order to bring the porn-ee (lul) to pleasure themselves through body and/or mind. Basically what I'm saying is it helps the lest... self controlled but not easily addicted pervy people from going out and raping someone or giving/contracting STD's through hasty sex. But yes it's bad because a Porn addiction can do some bad stuff to a family, hence my parents taught me as soon as I got towards mah interwebz.

For one thing Homosexuality can very well be a gene, and it's configured in your BRAIN. It's not a choice unless you can somehow manipulate your own brain do to something it doesn't necesarrily want to do. But that's an argument made for the Homosexuality thread.
Being introduced to porn would more than likely just scare the holy hell outta little kids. I sneaked a peek of hentai (which then grew to a fetish) when I was 10 or 11 and then I was all like... "Dude, why is it all mucky? Who would wanna stick their manhood in there? That's unsanitary!" then a couple years later I found it hot. Ever met a pornstar or a whore who works in a legal brothel? They actually *really* like their line of work. If a girl is being forced into it, then it's not legal anyway - all of the participants have to be willing, and there are strict laws that already govern that.

I believe he is referring to the addiction that is caused by porn (like video games or posting in forums, watching too much of the good stuff) The addict will probably be lethargic and always trying to get a fix (masturbate? or just watch).

Alcohol can be addictive, so can coffee, so can actual sex... but just because they 'can' be addictive, doesn't mean they should be illegal.
It's like when a violent video game inspires some crazy-train youth to shoot up his school. Does that mean violent video games should be illegal? I don't think so. I play a lot of violent games, and have for a considerable number of years & I don't have any of those violent tendencies. I know what he's saying - I'm just saying it's a bad argument.

Now, i completley disagree with people who say that porn should be legal. This is just one of the many corruptions that the world has today. When you are a young guy, of coarse a parent wouldnt expect a kid like that to watch something like that. They wont worry about an incident like that. Then when they watch it, they will become interested and become addicted. This might be effect for many years. This can also lead up to minors have sex. As they get older, they will get closer and closer till they really do have it, not saying that all of them will though but some. Also, i think that if you watch all this junk on the computer or tv, then it will take out the real expierence if you do it right: marry and have a wife.

Is this line of thought based on something? Why is it that watching pornography will take out the real experience? Watching pornography & marrying a person you love & spending time with them, sexually and otherwise, are two *hugely* different things.
If a young kid is watching porn at the age of 12-14 then, I would call it bad parenting, watch your kid's.
