Not at all, really, I'm just referencing horses because it has a similar basic bodyshape.
It looks like a batwinged pegasus in the rough sketch there, but you can see the more lizardlike tail and the toes (instead of hooves) if you look for them~
I could see the pegasus more if you took the horse backdrop off.
1) It is not a pegasus.
2) I screencap'd my workspace (those pics aren't a backdrop, they're reference images) because seeing such can occasionally interesting. The sketches aren't really worth showing off for what they are yet anyway. :/
True that they make the actual lines harder to see, but they make them easier to place. :3
you know not knowing what you have one here or not...maybe I can look...I just got this pretty good extension 4 Google Chrome that loads several pages which makes searching faster....

I recognize Houndoom, Smeargle (Puppeh!), granbull, ninetales and I think one of them is floatzel? I don't know what the 1st one that looks like a gorilla and the badger are though :P

Didnt take that long....the extension loads web pages while you scroll down theme...but for some reason only works backwards in the forum, Took like 10 minutes or so to got threw all 44 pages....least I didnt have to read all the posts B)

Are they easier to recognize with colours?
I don't know why, but the Pokemon seem unrealistic to me, mainly because they have different eyes to the original characters. They're awesome, but I had to read the comments to realize the purple thing in the corner was Granbull... But otherwise they're awesomez! They are eerily close to real dogs that have been painted.
