No they used RELIGION, everything you just described there is RELIGION. I agree with the fact that religion blows, but God well God's pretty sweet, and there did have to be something here first, I feel that God is the best explanation of this.

Not anymore. They got way out of control in the 1600's and have stopped using indulgences to forgive sins. At first it was like a dollar or whatever currency was called back then. Then, BAM, you'd have to build windows for the church, build new churches,etc. They stopped doing that a while ago. If someone gives money to a church, it's usually like $5 donation.

The bible wasn't physically written by god himself. It isn't proof. And the whole miracles thing isn't valid either because you have no proof of seeing it other than your word.

Nobody is forced to make a donation anymore. There's no church tax. People do it of their own free will, if they do it at all. $5 times how many worshipers that actually donate?
