No, the religious aspect is tithing, going to church, i.e. man made things

going to church is just something you do, if you believe in god beforehand. it is a way of showing and living your beliefs.
if you just go to church and think this defines a christian than you are wrong.

it is your personal belief and lifestyle and you wanting to belong to the christians that makes you christian. nothing else

Another thing what about the time between Dinosaurs and Cavemen wasn't that like a 50 million year diffrence? (yes it was) So how did humans come into the world? Someone answer that (it wasn't the big bang btw). And what made the big bang? If you say adams or anything like that what made that?

Well, if it's just god then, and you're chucking out the religion part & the book and the rules, how do you come to the conclusion that there is a god? I mean, the book is pretty tenuous in the first place, but without it - there's nothing at all to encourage a person to believe in such things.

In the beginning was the word and the word was God and the word is God. I think that speaks for itself.

Humans seem to have a knack for explaining things they don't understand with some sort of higher power, or a want to have comfort in the possibility of a pleasant afterlife.

Evolution is the term you're looking for - that details the development of life on the planet. What made the big bang? Beats me, I'm not a scientist & I'm too frickin' tired to look it up. Even if I don't know though, it doesn't suggest that 'god' is an acceptable explanation.

It doesn't speak for itself. Please elaborate.

HiddenDistance the question in this post is "How could (people believe in god) Not the religion of god. With what I wrote I pretty much told u why I know theres a god (I wont argue that with anyone.) And why I believe in Christianity.

And what Jesus Christ did was a fact (I know people are going to argue with that) There was bystanders who watched him bring someone back to life. Track down one of their sons or something (That will be extremely hard but not impossible)

Humans have an amazing mind, if only we could use it to do stuff instead of making pointless ideas of a "God".

What made the big bang?

Universes colliding in the 11th dimension but beside the point.

It doesn't speak for itself. Please elaborate.

Alright the word in this verse is referring to the bible. This means that God and the bible are one and the same "figuratively" so following the bible (ten commandments, ect.) is still not religion it's just a focus on God. The things in the book like having a church building and tithing while they help promote the relationship are religious and therefore not "needed."

The real questions is, how could people not believe in God?

It's not hard at all, I'm a Christian yet I admit that it's completely plausible God doesn't exist.

You are trying to argue it, otherwise you wouldn't have bothered posting again on the subject. It's not proof. It's not a factual account of events. The sooner you understand that, the better.

This means that God and the bible are one and the same "figuratively" so following the bible (ten commandments, ect.) is still not religion it's just a focus on God.

Provide proof, please. The circular argument of 'god wrote the book, and the book says god wrote the book, therefore it's bullet-proof" is such a boring & poor argument.

The real questions is, how could people not believe in God?

Again, easily. There's no proof of a god.

and how did humans get their amazing minds?? through chance??? how does that work?

Evolution. It's not chance. Here's a short bit of reading to introduce you to it.

Ahh but the proof is the bible, I know that to you it doesn't constitute as proof, but for me as well as the majority of Christians do. However I'm not saying it bullet proof I'm simply saying the bible isn't about religion, but is in fact the greatest love story ever told.
