That's... cruel. I disagree with Obama on many if not all issues, HOWEVER, I wouldn't wish harm upon him. That's because I don't know him personally, only politically. You know Palin as the far-right conservative that doesn't understand politics or world events. Would you wish that every far-right conservative who didn't understand world events and politics got hit by a truck? She was merely an inexperienced governer who got offered the chance at VP and took it. It was a dumb move on her part, but you shouldn't hope for her death because of it.
So are you saying that we need the left wing to be introduced to America, or we need some sane right wingers? Because America is afraid of anything more left wing than Democrats (but like you said, that's not even left wing considering the world).

People need to stop saying she is clueless. I'm not saying she is bright, but I think she was nervous during the past election. She came from Alaska with not many people and she (along with her family) were thrusted into the lime light. You can't say they should've expected it because I didn't think the media would go that deep into her family. I think she resigned as governor to get her family out of the media. If she does run in 2012, I don't think she will make it past nominations. Republicans will lose until a Democrat President messes up. That is what is wrong with this country.
On a side note, I am an independent. I would vote based on their beliefs and not just what party they are for.

Look, the Republican Party is in shambles right now. There wont be another Republican President until the Republicans get their acts together. They need to stop waiting for the Democrats to mess up and focus on ending the Republican Civil-War.
So, she's resigning. My distant relative was elected a Senator of Alaska about 6 months ago, and she wanted him to resign because he's a democrat. She's so pathetic. She thought dinosaurs existed 200 years ago. Among other things. I sure hope she doesn't run for president though.
