The Mystery of the Holy Trinity is about 1 God in 3 parts, but the Mormons believe that there are many gods. That even God had parents, and that he's just the god of this earth, and that when you die you'll get to be a god like that and have a planet of your own. That's not Christian.
If you think their Christian then answer me this: Where was Christ born? They believe he was born in Jerusalem. That's just wrong. So it must be another Jesus that they have written about.
Let's see. DNA.
There is scientific proof that what the Mormons believe is a false doctrine. Their book says that the Jews sailed over here across the Atlantic to become the American Indians who lived in Upstate New York. And they worshipped Jesus...how? Well, Jesus flew over the Atlantic Ocean and happened to land in Upstate New York to talk to them. And then there was a great war that wiped out everything, but there were left two tablets that Joseph Smith discovered.
Well, the scientific evidence of DNA tells us that the American Indian comes from Asian heritage, and supports archeologic evidence that nomadic tribes migrated across the ice bridge following the herds. The archeologic evidence further supports that THERE WAS NO GREAT WAR IN UPSTATE NEW YORK!
So that's why I believe that the Book of Mormon is a false Doctrine on religious, and scientific accounts. And that's just for starters.
My basis isn't to disprove anyone however ignorant MageGrayWolf sounds, or to correct assumptions by BigP08 made about me being in over my head. He doesn't even now what I'm doing.
All I'm doing is providing support for why I believe the Mormons and Freemasons are Satanic cults. And I've done that. So Phhhphtphtpthpt!!!
@Yielee: It just appeared that you were going more on the offensive was all; Mage was attacking Christian beliefs and you were offensively attacking back with DNA evidence. If you're trying to attack another sect of Christianity, sorry for my misinterpretation.
Now:
the Mormons believe that there are many gods. That even God had parents, and that he's just the god of this earth, and that when you die you'll get to be a god like that and have a planet of your own. That's not Christian.
Christianity has many different forms, but the core belief is centered around the belief that Jesus is the Son of God. With that, you can be considered a Christian.
If you think their Christian then answer me this: Where was Christ born? They believe he was born in Jerusalem. That's just wrong. So it must be another Jesus that they have written about.
So this belief seperates them from Christianity? You can't believe in someone if you have disagreements about what location they were born at? That's just wrong.
Whatever you want to say about disproving the doctrine, whatever. I'm not a Mormon, so do as you please. But just one more quote:
All I'm doing is providing support for why I believe the Mormons and Freemasons are Satanic cults.
That is a very cold thing to say; just because some beliefs sound very different on the outside does not make them "Satanic". Explore them, experience them, and then, if you need an exorcist to expel the Mormon demon, then I'll believe you.
I came in here thinking you were just unlucky, going on the offensive with some of our most experienced AG debaters. I was trying to offer some advice. Now I'm slightly offended by your discrimination against other religions, even other Christians. Even so, I'll be nice and I won't do a facepalm. Just a
Also, Christians (at least those I know) believe in the Holy Spirit, which is the Holy Trinity mystery (I would get into that, but I can't make a long post cause I have homework).
As for the holy trinity. It would seem to me that it is nothing more then a Biblical recon to make sense of the discontinuity. Explaining Christianity: The Trinity
All I'm doing is providing support for why I believe the Mormons and Freemasons are Satanic cults. And I've done that. So Phhhphtphtpthpt!!!
Yeah and I said you have to take a long look at your own religion before you go pointing fingers at others. Because your beliefs make about as much sense as the Mormons.
The Mystery of the Holy Trinity is about 1 God in 3 parts, but the Mormons believe that there are many gods. That even God had parents, and that he's just the god of this earth, and that when you die you'll get to be a god like that and have a planet of your own. That's not Christian.
Many Christians have been known to pray to Patron Saints of specific things very much the same way ancient religions pray to multiple minor gods. Also many Christian will pray to a deceased love one asking for or thanking them for something to happen again in a very similar fashion. While this doesn't go for all Christian groups there are those who most definitely do this.
But hey, what do I know. I don't have the Christian opinion.
You're not not making sense by stretching things without any support, and twisting definitions around to fit your whatever, I was going to say your position, but I won't even call it that. The reason you sound so ridiculous is that your not even Christian, so you don't even have any insight into why a Christian might not like the Mormon or FreeMason cults.
You guys get offended at me calling something a Satanic cult, and your not even religious. So then you compare Mormonism to Christianity how similar they are, but then why get offended if I do the same between Mormonism and Satanism?
Satanism should be seen by you as just another religion.

Don't be dissin Satan man! Satanism has as much credibility as Christianity or any religion for that matter.
We didn't call you that. You were calling Mormons that. You should respect other peoples beliefs. Whether they are satanists, Mormons, or catholic even.
BigP08 - Now I'm slightly offended by your discrimination against other religions, even other Christians.
All you can really do is defend your beliefs and stick to them.
Alls I'm doing is defending my beliefs and sticking to them, as you say to do so it is not within my power to altar my beliefs just to satisfy the objections of a few, especially when these beliefs are Christian beliefs, and I'm offending non-Christians who just don't understand the perspective, and are displaying their ignorance through misguided use of facepalm photos designed to ridicule non-popular beliefs, trying to enforce HERD MENTALITY.
Anyway, I certainly hope that you have the courage to hold some beliefs and make some decisions that others may find offensive. True Leadership depends on that, otherwise you just let others decide for you what your beliefs will be.
deserteagle. My point was this. Since all religions share equal credibility in your eyes, then it should be ok to make comparisons of one religion to another.
So if it's ok to compare Mormonism with Christianity, which non-Christians have been doing here, then its ok to compare Mormonism with Satanism.
That's not dissing anything. It's just a fact. I made a comparison between two religions. But for some reason, it got some people offended who aren't even religious in the first place.

You deserve the faceplam. You aren't listening to us. All you do is flame us and ignore the evidence presented. In real life, you people are telling us that we're going to hell and get all this crap. AG is a place where atheists gather without having to deal with ignorant people like you.

but in your religion Satan is protaryed as an evil deity that lies. Satanist believe that Satan is the creator and God is trying to form a conspiracy agnist him. You even stated that their founder was a liar. so dissed the entire Mormon community.
@Yielee: There's a difference between holding beliefs others disagree with and insulting beliefs that you disagree with. I'm friends with a lot of atheists and agnostics that I get into debates with all the time. I simply have the patience to respect them afterwords.
When I said stick to your beliefs, I didn't mean close your mind to all others. I meant listen, understand, and discuss peacefully. Stick to your beliefs on religion, but don't hold prejudice against other religions. I have strict Christian beliefs, but I don't go around calling all other beliefs "Satanic". Just so you know, the atheists you're talking to do have a perspective on Christianity. I've gotten into debates with them, and also added them to my friend list after such discussions. They've listened to my ideas open-mindedly; sadly enough, I'm more insulted by what you say about my beliefs than by what they say about my beliefs.
That's not dissing anything. It's just a fact. I made a comparison between two religions.
So you think Satanists are going to heaven? Or were you comparing Mormens to those that go to Hell? That's an insult any way you look at it.
Anyway, I certainly hope that you have the courage to hold some beliefs and make some decisions that others may find offensive. True Leadership depends on that, otherwise you just let others decide for you what your beliefs will be.
I disagree with the top debaters on here on some of the most important issues. I've gotten my ass handed to me a few times in debates, but since I was respectful, it ended up enlightening me rather than insulting me. I don't care what your ideals are; I care how you express them.
Anyway, I certainly hope that you have the open-mindedness to respect beliefs despite how they may appear on the outside. True experience depends on that, otherwise you're just closing your mind to the experiences around you.
Final note: Even if facepalms are immature, those vids and pictures are just so funny to watch. I like the one with Jim from The Office.

If your a outsider from Mormonism, you can't talk about how Mormonism is Satanic, because you don't have the same perspective.
You guys get offended at me calling something a Satanic cult, and your not even religious. So then you compare Mormonism to Christianity how similar they are, but then why get offended if I do the same between Mormonism and Satanism?
This isn't even true. For one thing they believe in many gods, that's not supported by the Bible. They think that God even had parents, and that his parents had parents. They think that when you die you get to rule over a planet.
Another thing, a BIG thing if you were still Christian, is that the Holy Ghost wasn't revealed to us until Jesus died on the crucifix. BIG error in timeline for the Mormons is that their false doctrine talks about the Holy Ghost supposedly about 400 years BC.
So your statement is false and you are wrong about that!
Ok, let me clear this up! (Since I'm the resident Mormon) We believe in ONE God. We don't believe that God had parents, even IF He did, does it really matter. (The Bible doesn't say either way.) And for the millionth time, When we die we DO NOT believe we will rule our own planet!
So if it's ok to compare Mormonism with Christianity, which non-Christians have been doing here, then its ok to compare Mormonism with Satanism.
You should not be comparing Mormonism with Christianity, because we ARE Christian. We do believe in Jesus Christ, and his sacrifice just like other Christians. As for comparing Mormons to Satanism, you better compare ALL of Christianity to Satanism.
You even stated that their founder was a liar. so dissed the entire Mormon community.
I'm not going to look for this original post, I don't have time tonight, but STOP accusing, or stating "Truth" until you know from the CORRECT source! This source is the LDS Church! Everyone else is lying. Now, if you have questions regarding our doctrine, ask a member of this church, not someone who isn't. I'm more than happy to help you guys, but I hate it when you don't do your homework about it.
