We really need explicit labeling on games that have vulgar language, and extreme gore.
I was letting my nephew play on the site wo is 6 by the way when he spotted game named Oozing Forever. Seems like a fun game huh? Innocent and a great game for a child.
When the opening comes up it says Sh*t and other vulgar words. When I saw those I immediatley turned the screen off because he was trying to read it. It just came to mind that we need these labels on our games so we know what we are getting ourselves into when it comes to the content of the games.
Why are their vulgar words in games without warning when here on the forums we can't say words like that? It makes no sense but all I'm asking for is warning labels on the game like they do in the back of video games with the reason for the label.
No. I said the label is already there. Which implies that because you have to be 13 to join, the games already are presumed to have a 13+ status.
What I was trying to say is that you should have known that not all the games on here are child friendly. But they are at the 13+ standard. Yes, some games have in game labels, which are usually the ones that need them. And what really would cause the need for the label is none other than legal reasons. So if it does become a problem, AG may add it. If not, well sorry, pay closer attention to the games your 6 year old nephew chooses to play. Not every little thing that happens is AG's fault.
yea I think this is a really good idea. Because Some of the games like dark cut are kinda too graphic. like they don't need to be. and yea i have a nephew and i let him play a game. and i didn't know it, i never saw it before. and i still don't remember the name.. but it was graphic and i dont want to teach him anything.
It would be really cool to have a icon at the top of the game somewhere or next to the name. I really hope we get it.
so it is for incase you go against terms and conditions (who doesn't?) or you have a child looking over your shoulder playing an unfamiliar game
i have a hard time accepting this because i wasn't even interested in the internet till i was 10-11 and, dunno how else to put it, it's kind of a soft spot for rule breakers..
yea yea, get mad, find loopholes but the plain fact is that it's 13+, so when lil johnny is gazing at what game you're playing it's like having him see a PG13 movie
well even if he did do all that. its not just his problem. a lot of people let their youngster play games around here and quite a lot of members are not really teens. so yeah, it cant be that hard to put the warning signa. and mods dont have to do it. they can just establish a thing in every game for people who play the game to say whether it is safe or not.

That is true, i remember some got banned for being underage like 11? or so, but i am not that sure but it was quite a lot. Don't want to mention names thought.
Yes but younger kids came, and that's where spam mostly began, all they wanted we're points and they we're obsessed with it, i think that they made it the rule for 13+ because kids are a little more responsible ...
