Now, as a suggestion from Randy, a fractal contest is upon you. You will have one week to create a fractalistic masterwork for me to judge. I'll crown a winner, do some honorable mentions, and all that jazz. There will be no themes or constraints - any fractal program, any scripts, anything. This contest is the canvas, your program the paint.

Now, let the fractacularness begin!

No, I used ApoMac (Apophysis for the Mac) for this one it took... FOREVER. I downloaded a hacked version for the Mac and it's so choppy and freezes every five minutes, but it was worth it makes far better fractals than the other programs I used.

Ugh, I wish the apophysis for windows could do that well.
It has such a nice blend of colors.

I'm pretty sure the Windows version could do that it just takes more time than normal and a lot of trial and error to get the fractal perfect.

Did you use any variations specifically?

I've made a few that look similar to that, but I don
't think I have that gradient. Was it a randomized gradient you stumbled upon?

The Gradient I used for my last Fractal is called "Beautiful"

I have no way of knowing if you actually made the fractal, because of previous art theft incidents that have you banned.

Zoph, I would recommend maybe uninstalling fractalworks to get ApoMac - it's probably the best freeware fractal editor for the Mac.

I don't wanna get rid of FractalWorks. :< I wanna get all the movie files moved over on a separate disk... They take up 111.38 GB...

FractalWorks take up a little more than 11 GB... Firefox a little more than 46...

I really should get rid of some of the programs I never use. :/ ut moving the movie files would help a lot.
