If you were a homeless person, and had nothing, would you do something really bad so the cops would bring you to jail and you would at least get food, water, and shelter?
the underpants part i believe. but i am really curious about the companies employing homeless
once they give you a home to live in you're no longer homeless, obviously they won't give you a job to be a business man but clean toilets should get you some where... lol

yeah cleaning toilets is a steep career. the problem is that if you even live in social apartements the jobs you get wont get you out of there. so if you fall into misery once it is really hard to get back to a decent living. if not impossible without lots of luck
here in Australia the system is good, you will always have food on your table even if you're below normal life
not many countries help you out if you're homeless and give you a decent home to live in and pay your bills so you can get back on track
in germany our social system is great to. you get everything you need if you lose your job. the problem is, that it is pretty difficult to get back into a job. because if you have been once unemployed for a longer time, more and more companies do not want to hire you.
i mean the people live a rather decent life, but sending kids to college or afford a vacation once in a while is a real challenge for them
now with this crisis people are loosing their jobs and not many are getting the help they need, hope to see everything back to normal and more jobs again for everyone

yeah the crisis is being hard on everyone. but still then long term unemployed here had problems for over a decade here. its like one of our biggest problems. we have like 8% unemployment for like 10years. the good part is that the numbers didnt go up to much since the crisis
I can always take out a $600,000 life insurance on myself, then kill myself, allowing some one else not to be homeless and poor anymore. Life insurance isn't taxable, and you can earn 10% on it for the rest of your life and just spend the interest, then you are set for life. And before anyone asks, my life insurance covers suiside.

if you do that then everyone is gonna start doing it lol
homless people are just bumbs who have no work ethic and no friends. The only reason you end up on the street is because you are stupid, don't save money, don't work hard, and have no friends you can fall back on.
Spend one night volunteering in a homeless shelter and listen to the people. 90% of them are intelligent and hard workers. They are often victims of circumstance, or really bad luck.

the list man is totally right. I volunteer and quite often mental illness and bad luck play huge roles. It is not even close to being that simple. And as for not working hard, there is a reason people see certain homeless people regularly, they work very, very hard to survive. Harder than you or I have worked at almost anything in our lives. The fact is, not everybody starts off from birth equal and so not everybody gets the same opportunities. I have helped out a couple who lost everything while the woman was pregnant. The child was born to homeless parents. When that child grows up tell me exactly how them having the same levels of motivation and the same work ethic as you would get them anywhere.
Anywho, I would probably just assault a police officer or something, that is fairly minimal and gives a pretty good sentence if I had nowhere to go.
