Since I have joined Armorgams . . .I see a lot of Atheists and their threads about why people believe in God etc . . . I wanted to start a thread about the bible and christianity.
The purpose of this thread is to debate a different book of the bible each week. We will discuss lessons, morals, and different stories.
We will have friendly debates. Please . . . if you are atheist or of other beliefs . . . you may discuss in this thread, just PLEASE no fighting, flaming, spamming, trolling . . . etc
This week we will begin from the beginning . . . .Genesis
No, Eden was by the Tigris and Euphrates. The angel guarding it just does a good job.
Genesis 2 10And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 11The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. 13And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. 14And the name of the third river is Hiddekel [Tigris]: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
I was under the impression that all most all of the Old Testament events took place in either Israel, Iraq/Persia, Sinai Peninsula, and Egypt. Israel had Jerusalem; Exodus happened in Egypt; and the bondage to Babylon was in Iraq/ Persia.
Seeming how this has been dug up, I suggest that if a Bible discussion should happen you should start with Matthew, which is a very good book for giving directions on how to live life.
This thread is massive. Snazy created this monster 116 pg thread. It'll take you at least a week to finish it. Plus you have to remember what happen in these 116 pgs too. lolz
I'm guessing at least 12 pgs are full of off topic stuff which is probably funny.
