Lets start with the term itself. I mean seriously, who the hell comes up with NU as a word? Sad. . . . And the music itself is just a disgrace to metal. Sadder. Which is why I don't even classify it as metal.
I agree with you I dont even know why its considerd metal.
Why do people that listen to pop-punk (Green Day, Offspring, NOFX, Bad Religion and stuff) don't like Punk Hardcore?(Kid Dynamite, Black Flag, Comeback Kid, etc...)
Since when? I'd have to say, the only of those I care for is the Offspring, but I'm also a fan of Rise Against and Billy Talent.

Yes, but Billy Talent and Rise Agaisnt are not hardcore band... I mean not really hardcore band... Billy Talent are definitely not hardcore, even if it screams a little bit (and it's awesome!) in Billy Talent I, and Rise Against are not enough hardcore to be really far from bands as NOFX...
i listen to New-Age Heavy Metal, New Age Metal, Nu-Metal, Metalcore and Punk...
I like 2 Nu-Metal bands: System of a Down and Disturbed
I only listen to SOAD of those 2 bands...
M fav bands is:
System of a Down <--- Nu-Metal Slipknot <--- New-Age Heavy Metal Bullet For My Valentine <--- Metalcore Sonic Syndicate <--- Metalcore Dead By April <--- New-Age Metal Rise Against <--- Punk
Sure I listen to Nu metal, (bottom of page 3) but straight up metal is awesome. Sh1t like Metallica, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed and Mudvayne is what I'm talking about.
well i like metal a lot,and i don't actually hate nu-metal i just think it does sound diferent from what i'm used to hear, like megadeth, iron maiden, judas priest,metallica,etc... that's why ppl don't like it that much,or maybe just because most of it sucks and it shouldn't be called metal
People who listen to REAL metal dislike people who listen to nu-metal because they usually have the attitued taht they are really hardcore.
Now, I don't listen to straight up death metal, but progressive metal, alternative metal, and melodic death metal.
And I used to listen to nu-metal a lot, in fact I though I was really hardcore. It got me started listening to good music. I like nu-metal, but as a stepping stone to GOOD music.
