Truth is I LOVED harry potter :P. I just couldn't stop reading them when I started, too bad the movies are starting to ruin it (first movies were good).
I also liked the lord of the rings a lot, even though it's not a series :P,I have also read some books called pedragon(or something like that lol) and they were very addictive.

Has anyone heard of the inheritance series? I like them Because it's very in depth and has long books (300-800 pages). The forth and last one is coming out in september I think...

You mean Eragon?
Ther'es so much fantasy books published every year, I don't understand why people keep reading this thing...
It's lame!
Nothiung original, characters are so clichés, Paolini tried to create an universe just by creating a tenth of words...it's ridiculous...

Eoin Colfer

Eoin Coffer?
The artemis Fowl's author?
WTF?
Artemis Fowl are nice, but far far away under H2G2!!
I'm quite disapointed...
I thought a guy like Terry Pratchett would have fit more better for a sixth volume...

Pendragon, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, or any of the series done by Tamora Pierce. I can't pick between them and there are a lot of other good books out there so if someone dosen't agree then I don't mind and they shouln't either.

I'd say that the "Abhorsen trilogy" and the "Keys to the Kingdom" series by Garth Nix are really good. They're really imaginative in a fresh way.

My all-time favorite series, though, has to be HG2TG.

lol, I'm kinda a fan of the Bourne trilogy. really good. and it's totally different from the movies too.
but also there's this trilogy known as the Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker which is really superbly well done and has a fourth book coming out this fall I think. the best part is that alot of Dekker's other books revolve around the same story as in the Circle trilogy (the Paradise trilogy, and the Books of History series with four books, not to mention in his book SKIN, which is my personal fav of all time, there's a small mention of a character that is also mentioned in another book.) I don't know. I just love everything by Ted Dekker lol

Personally, my favorite series of books are 'The Hunger Games'. by Suzanne Collins. Currently only the first book has been released, with the second one coming out September 1rst. I do not kid when I say the first one is right up there with "Harry Potter" and "The Lord of the Rings." Really, look it up and at least read the first book.

"Lord of the Rings" is without a doubt the greatest trilogy ever. "Eragon" is pretty good too. another great series that not many ppl have read is the "Bartimaeus" (spelling?) trilogy.
